We first went to DC in 2004 and did not expect to go back again this year as we already have so much planned! I love DC it's fantastic!

We are supposed to be going to Berlin in 3 weeks however Dh is stressing as he has his airline pilots exams coming up and he won't get time to study whilst in Berlin. I suggested we cancel the trip so as a little sweetner he told me to book DC:banana:

We will be taking Ds who will be 2, has any one any experience of DC with a young child?

Are you saying that your 2 year old is taking an airline pilots exam?:scared1: :lmao:

Have a great time.

Well he is smart and a spotter at such a young age too lol :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Meant to say DH LOL - off to edit now

Fantastic! :thumbsup2 we went to Dc for my dd 18th birthday 3 years ago and had a great time there, its such a relaxing day!
hope your dh passes his pilots exam :)

Thanks Jeanette!:) I do hope he passes, he has put so much effort and money into it!:)

We did DC on our first 'trip of a lifetime' our DDs were 8 and 2, we did it for the oldest because we assumed we wouldn't come back :rotfl: DH did his swim with the dolphins first whilst I looked after the girls and then DD and I did ours whilst DH looked after the little un. DH and I took turns going off with our oldest to swim with the fishes etc and looking after the youngest. The biggest problem we had was that our 2 yr old hated, I mean literally hated, sand! as well as having to carry her all day it did make things a bit awkward. Also, at one point we were standing in the water watching DH and DD and everything was fine until she looked down and saw a load of fishes swimming about her ankles, she totally freaked out! So as long as your son doesn't feel the same about sand and fishes you should have a great day.
