:woohoo: DBF and I have booked a night in a Club Level room at the Hard Rock Hotel for our upcoming trip. Ok, so it's a little extravagant but we just fancied doing something a bit special.

There isn't a great deal of information about Club Level on here (or in general actually). I know about all the amenities but I'd like to hear about it from a personal perspective. Have any of you guys done it at the HRH or any of the other Universal hotels? Was it worth it?

We're really looking forward to it!

We've stayed club level at the HRH twice. We've enjoyed it both times, but last october I found the lounge was crazy crowded at breakfast and evening happy hour.

Offerings are good, breakfast consisted of bagels, pastries, cereal and fruit. Evening appetisers changed each night, but there was always cheese and crackers, and two hot offerings, things like spring rolls, little pastries etc. Not enough to make a meal of, but enough for a substantial appetiser, during this time (5-7pm) there was also complimentary wine and beer.

In terms of it being worth it, that's hard to say. We enjoy it and will stay club level again, but in terms of actual monetary value it's probably not.

If you want any further info just let me know.

Thanks for the reply!

From what you've described, both the breakfast and the evening offerings sound pretty good. We're planning to eat at Margaritaville so we'll probably just have a few nibbles (and a few glasses of wine... :rolleyes1).

Having looked at some photos, the Club Level rooms don't look substantially better than the standard rooms really- what were the rooms you stayed in like? Did they have nice views?

The rooms were nice, I've never stayed in a standard room so I can't say if they are much bigger or not. They have always been clean, and certainly more than big enough for just the two of us.

First time the view was nothing to write home about, but on our second visit we had a fab view of the pool, with islands of adventure in the background. I'd wake up and watch the hulk and duelling dragons starting up, it was great but guess it's just luck of the draw.

Thanks for the info, your view of the rides sounds great! I'm planning to do a trip report when I return so hopefully I'll only have good things to say about Club Level!!

it sounds good to me. :cool1: hope you have fun and take plenty of piccies for us.
