Just Booked AK 1BR Villa Club @ 7 Months!

We thought there would be no chance to get that reservation for club at AK but we got it some how?? We are arriving on a Wed. so I wonder if that had something to do with it??? Does anybody know if they do turn down service for the Villas staying on points and does anybody have any feedback or comments/pictures on your experience at AK club 1BR? We were told we could get a Savanah view or a landscape view (no view requests) but I thought all club rooms had Savanah view??? TY!

All club rooms for AKL have a savanna view - not so with the DVC villas. There are a total of 5 two-bedroom lock-offs on the 6th floor. 2 face the pool and 3 face the savanna. But the views are marginal due to the roof overhang.

We've stayed CL twice now and have another trip planned for next June. We like to stay here when we aren't doing a lot of park visits so we can stick around the resort and enjoy the amenities. Love the CM's here - some of the best in all WDW.

They do turn down service for the CL when you are staying on points! Sometimes we had to call to remind them that we were using the sleep sofa!

Yes you do! I've enjoyed a few CL stays, and hope you both enjoy yours too!

It's actually a full cleaning I believe, not T&T. They will make the beds, straighten up and clean although the cleaning can be a bit spotty. However when we were there my mother was often in the room when they came so that may be why it wasn't always everything.

Yes, when I stayed in Club on points, I got daily maid service, nightly turn down plus delivery of any packages from the parks. In fact, I thought there was too much traffic in my room as I like to take a nap before dinner so starting hanging the "Do not Disturb" card on my door!

Yes, it's a full cleaning, make the beds, new towels, new towel animals. I forgot that T&T isn't all that.

DVC concierge are the only rooms on the same floor as the concierge lounge so very close. The hotel concierge rooms are the ones that can be a long walk.

We love staying DVC CL every year now...

Can someone just explain to me the difference between DVC CL and Non DVC CL? Are the Non DVC CL just getting their rooms on the 5th Floor and have access to the lounge? Is this something they are paying extra for? Just curious since before I realized there was more CL in the hotel - we were staying DVC CL and always saw more people in the lounge then the 6th floor could possibly house. Thanks...
