Just booked our airline tickets for next October:crazy: , and we've only been back less than a month, but as it's going to be over the half term week the seats are already becoming scarce.:scared1:

BA were offering the best prices (£1,570 for 3 tickets as opposed to £1800 from Virgin). Just have to pay for them now.:rolleyes1

We're hoping for 3-4 nights at AKL followed by 6-7 nights at SSR.:goofy: :mickeyjum

Have a good one, best way to get over a holiday, book another, I found BA cheaper than Virgin as well and I flying with them next year.

I will be in the home of three Disney parks next year, Paris in May, and then California and Orlando August and September.

Richard, did you book direct through BA? Or who did you book through?

I can't get the dates I want in October yet. (We're hoping for 14th until 30th).

We should organise a meet - there seems to be quite a few of us going next October.

At least you will be safe in the knowledge that we won't be joining you in a car up main street next year!!! We aren't going back until May 2009 - prices, according to Virgin, are out November 25th. Booking another Disney holiday is the only way to get over the last one:rotfl:

We booked through BA.com. They're booking return dates up to 5th Nov 2008 (as of today 17th Nov).

What? You're not going until May 2009. Who're we going to share a car with on our 1st day in the MK?:sad1:

5 years on the run and we have decided to give it a miss for a year. Also Lucy has started High School and it gets harder to take her out of school (even just for a week). Have arranged to go to Ibiza for all of the summer holidays next year so we will have to make do with that!!:rotfl:

By the way, DH won't be coming in May 2009 - so it will be another Girls only holiday:woohoo:

Next year we are going to Florida Easter, August and Xmas so trying to convince DW we should just do a week in Spain next Oct but she is trying to get me to book somewhere in the States again.
If some £350 flights come up I know we will end up going over the big pond again.
Next Oct seems such a long way off but it will soon pass.

Great price :thumbsup2

I am sitting in Orlando just thinking about looking for flights for next October:)

When is the English half term break as it differs from Northern Ireland and may or may not help me get flights. We only get a week in October and with our eldest now at grammar school it is really hard to get her out of school for any extra days :sad2:

hi we are going to florida 6th october next year, and cant wait it what keeps me going at the moment. mega excited

I agree :thumbsup2 Enjoy your planning Richard

You sound like us, back from one trip onto booking and planning the next.
ENJOY!

we have booked for next oct half term,we fly out oct 20th,for 4 nights in san francisco, then 10 nights at the best western lakeside.we have got it for £2100,through united vacations.this is for 2 adults,1 child.
i know the BWL,is not a fancy hotel, but we found the location, spot on & enjoyed our stay there,so i am really happy, with the price.the flight times have not been released yet & they have said,if the price increases by more than £30 per person,we have the option to cancel.but we booked hawaii & florida, with them last year before the flights were released & there was no increase,so fingers crossed,it will be the same this time.
driving hubby nuts already, bit i love all the planning.it's so exciting!!!!!:cool1:
tracy

Oh best way to get over the "blues" is definately re-booking.
Happy Planning.:thumbsup2

Thanks for that Richard. It's showing return flights from Aberdeen for £666 each.

Sue,

Is this a good price from Aberdeen?

Its a lot less than what Virgin charged us from Gatwick this year (and obviously less than what they are charging next year), hence we've "switched" to BA.

Well, it did say that magic word "FROM" £666 per adult.

When you go through it the final amount is around £2,300 for the 3 of us.
Have checked out Expedia too, and although they can't do more than 330 days in advance, they are coming up with prices of around £600 each, flying BMI to Manchester, then Man to MCO, for the end of September.

best western lakeside.

We have stayed there 4 times, under different owners, great budget hotel. Much prefer here to a Disney value resort. They have just had a refit past few years, think it is complete now. We are considering here again for next August £20/night with free internet, fridge, mini golf +more its a bargain.

Feeling chuffed that we bought when we did.

Our £1,570 tickets are now going for £1,718.10.:woohoo: That's £148 increase (for 3 tickets) in 4 days.
