I am so excited! We just got off the 4 night on the Dream and truly, the highlight of the trip was Castaway Cay. I won't even bother getting off the ship in Nassau again, so that'll be a total relaxing day!

What is different on the 5 night vs 4 night? Obviously, we will be repeating 2 dining rooms, but how does that work? Also, do they add extra shows for the 5 night? What else might be different? I'm so excited!

Bumping…partly because I can't BELIEVE that "squatty potty" thread is still on page one and mine didn't even get one response :confused3:confused3:confused3

Anyone else booked on this cruise?? Or will I have the whole ship to myself? Nice!

I'd so love to cruise that date but it's my gtandmother's 100th birthday. I better not make any other plans or I'll really be in the dog house.

When we did the double dip we loved it! I believe as entertainment goes they just added a featured entertainer like a comic or maybe a movie night. What was great about two times at Castaway Cay was we were able to do things we don't feel we have time for when only going once. We did parasailing, watched crab races, played basketball and/or soccer and rented bikes and explored the island. Then the second time we were able to snorkel and just relax on the beach. It was like two totally different experiences on Castaway Cay. It was AWESOME!!!! Enjoy! :) :)

We did a double dip last July and LOVED it! We had the 3 main shows, then one night was the Inside Out movie in the Walt Disney Theater, and another night we had Mike Super (magic). I was thinking about booking the cruise you are on for my son's high school Graduation, but not sure yet! I do have a 10% on board booking to use up!

Double dip means you got to CC twice? That would rock. However, I don't know that 5 days would ever be enough for me. As to dining rooms, each one has a specialty menu the first night you visit after that each one has the same menu based on the day's theme: Pirate night, Captain's whatever, Princess day. HTH.

That is why we do B2B when we want 2 stops at CC. We have one booked for May 2017 in Concierge and it was cheaper than the June 2017 DD in Concierge.

We did double dip in June 2015 and loved it. I actually preferred the 5 night cruise to our 7 night cruise. I think 5 nights is the perfect amount of time to be on the boat. Enjoy! We are doing 4 night this July because the double dips were not offered. Sort of wish I waited for 2017 to do the double dip again!

We just booked the 5 night for 7/9/17, so excited! We'll likely tack on some days at WDW at the end of the cruise. I just love having a trip book, makes me smile and sure gives me something to look forward to. Let the planning begin :-)

I think we booked the 7/9 double dip 5 night as well but the DW and I were talking today and we may end up moving it to a different date and doing two more affordable cruises instead. If we do the double dip that means it will be from November this year till July next year before we go on a cruise and I don't think I can go that many months without Castaway Cay. The prices of those were just rediculous.

Aw! Happy Birthday to your Grandma! I wish mine had lived to be 100. You're very lucky!

Our CC day in April was amazing! Easily the best part of our cruise! But you're right, there was only so much we could squeeze into the day!

I had originally booked a 3 night for next April while on the cruise, but after getting off the 4 night, we decided that the 3 night would be WAY too short!

Thanks, I wouldn't mind skipping a dining room one night either, depending on what the menu is.

Awesome! I know! It is so nice to reset that clock! I have to fix my signature though, just haven't gotten around to it yet!

It seems the prices for anytime I can actually go are ridiculous! But that's what I get for going during the kid's school breaks. Someday I'll be free to go when prices are more reasonable!

After some forward thinking, if we are taking a cruise, we may have to do the same thing. Summer break in 2017 may be VERY short for us. Daughter will move from a regular schedule calendar to a year round calendar (on 9 weeks, off 3 weeks). That means she would be in school starting right after July 4th. That leaves only a 2 week Summer vacation window.

Our son wanted to go another Disney Cruise for his graduation gift and we booked to go on the June 25th cruise. This will be our 4th Disney Cruise and it never gets old.

Well I did end up canceling my double dip and trading it out for a 3 night on the Wonder in February (we've not been on the Wonder yet and figured it would be cool to see after the dry dock). I just couldn't justify the price of the double dip plus I don't really want to cruise in summer. We can get 2 cruises out of the price of the one double dip.
