I am still in shock that something was available for 7 nights in a row !! :cool1:

A few questions for the experts ...

We will actually be arriving around midnight on Apr 3. Do you think I should waitlist for that night at SSR and use the points or should we look into staying somewhere else for the first night ? If so, where ? We won't be getting a car, so is it worth it to stay somewhere else and worry about how we will get from there to SSR in the morning ?

Our home resorts are BWV and BCV ... never stayed at SSR before, so looking for any input on where we should request to stay. We have 2 dd's ... ages 10 and 13. I thought walking distance to DTD might be nice???

Thanks !

Cindy,

Since you won't have a car, I am assuming you will be flying into MCO? If so, why not spend the night at the Hyatt there in the airport. Then in the a.m., you can get up and catch ME to SSR.

To do this, you just schedule ME like you were coming in on an early a.m. flight.

We spent the night there prior to leaving on an early a.m. flight and we really enjoyed ourselves. We ate dinner in the airport and enjoyed sitting on our balcony people watching.

Congratulations.

The nay sayers and the day by day bookers at 11 months are cringing right now. They spent each day at 11 months booking their stay while you called one time and got 7 consecutive nights in April.

Congratulations and thanks for helping make my point in another thread.

We just booked last week - a 2br at SSR. CM said there were "lots" available. We'll be there 4/8-4/12 - maybe we'll see you there!

DVCCindy you are going to enjoy this trip so much! Being close to DTD
is really nice and gives a whole other layer to SSR with all the options. Disney Quest is great fun for the whole family if you can fit it in.

There's a carriage ride at SSR you might want to look into that's really nice and relaxing. Hope you will
a great memory making time!
