Hi, just starting on my weight loss journey, wish me well!
Blood pressure is a bit too high and dr. wants me to start with diet/exercise and see what that does. I don't have the results of the bloodwork yet, so don't know if cholesterol or anything is an issue yet. But figured I may as well start. I figure I'm about 100 lbs overweight and my first goal is 25 lbs by Christmas. I've done the starvation diet (1200 cal) in the past and quit after a couple weeks because I was sick of starving and watching everyone else eat. So this time I'm working on lifestyle changes first with healthier food (good for the whole family!), less eating (for me!) and more exercise for all of us.
Gonna take some time, but then it took me years to get here so .... but just gotta start somewhere!

to WISH and congratulations for chosing to live healthier. It is never too late to get healthier and it sounds like you have a plan of action in place. I am glad to see you are passing over starvation because that is not the way to get long term results. Something that may help in your journey is to keep a journal of what you eat and drink every day. This will help you to be accountable and to see exactly what you are putting in your body. Good luck to you on your journey, stop by often and keep us posted.
