What have you done just because you have an AP or UPH? On our trip last week our family met us there for one day. That night they gave our 3 dds matching Cinderella gowns. That day we had already had our dds picture made with Cinderella but the next morning we dressed them in their Cinderella gowns and headed to the MK for a photo shoot. Once they had their picture made we changed their clothes and headed to Epcot. Later that night while back at the resort I realized we were there to celebrate dd #3 1st birthday. She had not had her picture made with Mickey this trip. This was her 4th trip to Disney. So the next morning we headed back to MK for a photo shoot with Mickey just for dd's 1st birthday picture. We also went to Epcot one night just to eat in China.

So now what have you done just because you had AP or UPH pass and could take the time.

I love my AP :) I will go into a park for one attraction. I will go to a park for one hour or even 15 minutes :) It takes the pressure away for me to make each day on the pass count. I don't worry about "wasting" a day on my pass because I've got a whole years worth of days.

Now, if I could just get to WDW more often I could really get my money's worth from my AP. It just burns a hole in my pocket ;)

We live close and go about every other weekend. We have many times walked into MK took one look down Main street at the crowds and turned around and went to a different park to avoid the crowds. We almost always go to MGM every trip to just Ride RnR fist and last thing on our trip. We camp at FW a lot and it is great to just catch the boat over to watch a show or parade. Early last year we got the 4 day deal and it was nice to be able to hop from park to park but you still had to tuff it out to get your days worth out of the pass. Now if the weather turns bad or crowds get too bad we don't worry. In the summer when the thunder storms are active we will actually head to a park to be there right as it ends and enjoy the low crowds. This really works great at the water parks. Get there about 4 PM during a bad storm and as soon as its over you feel like you have the place all to your self. We could never do this without PAPs. We will also go into DQ for an hour or so while we are at DTD. I just hope we can scrape up the money to renew this year. I figure it cost us about $6 each a day to go to the parks. Not counting the food and other stuff. I don't want to talk about what that cost. I'm scared to even try to figure it up. You know maybe I should not renew those things. We could probably get a new car or something. :jester:

Great Question!

Didn't get my "alone" AP park time this last trip, but when we went in October, I spent time browsing all the items in all the Main Street shops that I usually have to whisk by when DS and DD are w/ me!
Not to mention the Frontireland and Liberty Square shops!!!

A wonderful, wonderful time - all by myself!!!

I've made a habit of stopping in Disney Quest for just a few minutes of Ms Pac Man, since its included on my PAP. Otherwise, I don't think I'd pay to go there more than once every other year or so.

On our last trip we rode the bus to MK so we could catch the monorail to the Polynesian for the luau. We got there about 45 minutes to early (better to be early than late for a luau;) ) so we popped into the MK for one more round at Buzz and exited just in time to see Tinkerbell winging her way over the MK before we headed to the Poly. Oh the joy of the UPH.

With the UPH or PAP, we walked through Epcot to pick up the monorail to MK. We've stopped at the park on the way home just to get something to eat. We'll go to a water park for just a few hours in the afternoon several times in the week.

Last trip we were at the Poly and Mom had a craving for a cinnamin roll from the bakery in MK before we headed to DTD for the night. So, off we went to MK to satisfy her craving. We have also left one park to go to another just for lunch or dinner and then back to the original park. We also feel less pressure to "get a park done" because we can stay do a few hours here and a few hours there each day. So much more relaxing than having to get one park done in a day.
