How about ... no ragging on the Sharks and we wont say anything on the Avs. I have family in Colorado and it's not a game I like to play with them either.

As long as I can openly express my distaste for (1) Detroit, (2) Anaheim, and (3) Dallas ... I'm cool.

Just don't express distaste for the Canucks and you'll be good! I don't know if you ever saw it or not, but on the old thread I said that if
a) the Sharks beat the Canucks on November 26th and
b) you make it to DL while I'm there (Dec 10-13th)
I would buy you a Disneyland Holiday Treat!

Seriously? Unless of coarse I am paying for your drinks then you are like a character from mad men :rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao:
:lmao:

There is no reason that you can't have a good time without drinking. You know that. So why not go to the bar and have fun?
I will agree here. The one thing I would not recommend when pregnant is to go to an all-day wine tasting thing. I did that with my DH and friends when I was pregnant. It was this big event in Livermore CA, and we did the whole chauffered bus thing from winery to winery. After the 7th winery (and did I mention it was hot??? Livermore can be deadly to people ... good for the grapes ... but not for pregnant women) I was seriously Debbie Downer :sad2:

Oh I can only imagine. Oy and bathrooms? I have never met a pregnant woman who did not need to know where the bathroom was every where she went. You poor thing.

Ugh, did you see what that puck did to Pavelski's mouth? That's gotta hurt pretty bad.

:cool1: Sounds like a plan, Stan!

Good evening!!

:wave2: Hiya, Michele!!

It's been OK -- positives and negatives. Been watching The Tudors and The Closer, resting my legs because my shins are killing me, and talked with Jason for a bit.

Well, as long as there are more positives than negatives. Did you see that I am now going to the Family Force 5 concert? Did I tell you I bought the tickets with the meet and greet?

why are your shins killing you? :(

I was gonna ask the same question. Great minds think alike.

I suppose from my walk on Tuesday and Wednesday. They were hurting yesterday but I figured with a stretch and another dog walk it would be better. Ended up cutting the walk short and all of today even moving my feet a tiny bit makes my shins feel like they are falling apart. I've been using Icy Hot and heating pads all day and they feel a little better. But still so sore.

I'm kind of PO'ed about it. All I did was walk 2.5 miles. My legs have never hurt this bad. Not after pushing it at DLR for 16 hours. Not after pushing a 10K. Nada.

I did, I did. Sounds like a heck of a lot of fun to me, it does!

That is weird :confused3 Walking at DLR all day is waaaaaaaaaaaay more than 2.5 miles.

So is a 10K. Ugh. And it was a leisurely walk to boot. It's not like I was power walking or anything. How sad is it that I'm 24 and already falling apart, lol.

I once read that on an average you walk 10 miles in a day at Disneyland.

I totally wore a pedometer while I was there. But I'm an idiot. I checked it at one point on one of the days I didn't forget it. I was already at 10 miles. When I checked later it had reset itself!!

That is why I said average. There are some people that don't do commando. My mom sits on a bench every chance she gets and we go on and do our thing. If she goes 5 miles I would be amazed. It balances out.

For every person who does over, there are tons who do under ;) It just totally reminded me about my pedometer. And reminds me that I want a new one. Saves me the trouble of counting steps, haha.

Yeah it does help a lot doesn't it?

I just realized that I didn't know what "nihilistic" means. I looked it up. Now I know. And the only reason I care is because I heard it in a song.
