You know I have never really gotten the whole Vin Diesel thing. I am not sure why though. It can't be the shaved head my DH does that. I just don't know.

Okay, I had a goodness I am old moment earlier. Rupert Grint from Harry Potter was on Regis and Kelly and they asked him how old he is. He is 22. It just doesn't seem possible. But, I will tell you he is so funny.

I couldn't beleive the cost of glasses at this site. I thought I got a good deal, a pair of regular glasses and a pair of sunglass for $139. Insurance and the buy reg glasses and get sunglasses half off helped a lot.



Sooo agree. My office room is all movie/disney/hollywood stuff decor. I have four pictures/posters of him, all in frames. I have one of him as a pirate, but it's not yet in a frame so he's left in the garage with the rest of my posters until I can get a worthy frame.

I registered for classes. Three online general ed classes (yippie) My last English class, political science, and computer science. The bummer is I don't qualify for fincacial aid cause they base the income on last years taxes, I was working last year so as a family we made too much money to qualify. The good thing is the total for all three classes is only $234. But I still have to buy books.

try half.com for the books. Ask your teachers if they need to be current editions or if you can use the previous. With community colleges sometimes they are a little more lax on the books.

You can always go talk to the financial aid people and tell them you aren't working but I don't think for $234 it would change much... if it was more than I would definitely try!

I second trying half.com for books. That's usually what I did when I needed books. Pretty much everything I ended up with was either used so slightly cheaper or from there.

I know ya'll just discussed the weather yesterday but I just can't believe it! I went from freezing 2 days ago to contemplating running the ac so I can sleep this afternoon! So weird!!

I know, right!! And of course we don't have AC. We have a swamp cooler that we just boarded up because it was getting WAY too drafty. Getting home from S.F. last night was miserable our house was so warm. It felt like I was still sitting out in the sun.

I'm not lining them. They are really thick, and sturdy right now, and don't plan on turning the wrong-side-out.

I was just curious. Stocking are fun to make. When I was first learning how to stich I made a santa stocking. The santa was cross stiched, then had to break out the machine to sew the stocking. I lost it. It wasn't all that great anyway, when your learning how to do something it never looks like the picture on the package.

I think that is why I hate doing kits. They have given me terrible inferiority complexes.

One thing I like to do is take flour sack towel and use the Aunt Martha iron transfers on them. I then later embroider them. I get a kick out of having sets of days of the week towels in the kitchen.

Has anyone heard about that Mexican hotel explosion that happened yesterday?? That was the resort I stayed at when I went there two years ago. 7 people have died apparently. 5 Canadians and 2 Mexicans. So sad. Also sad for the hotel as it was such a beautiful place. I hope that they can get it back to what it was.
