Just back from six nights at Disney. We split our reservation bewteen two hotels so we had the dining plan for only three nights. It is definitely worth the money. Loved not having to think of the budget for food during those three days. Here are some of our choices:
The Castle for dinner- We ate here before our night at MNSSHP. The food was just O.K. If I was paying out of pocket I would of felt ripped off. For the price of the meals the quality was mediocre. Our waiter was Jay and he basicly did not care what your ordered on the plan. The service was good and I had called ahead to notify them of my daughter's birthday, so the table was decorated and they brought a cupcake with candle.
Chef Mickey's- For breakfast, excellent food and service. Was daughter's birthday, so she got a special placemat and cupcake with candle. Characters were goofy, mickey, minnie, and chip.
Rainforest Cafe- excellent food and service, waiter was Miguel, the new snapper with the macadamian crust was one of the best meals all week.
50's Prime time cafe- So much fun if you have an interactive waiter, Had Topher and he was so much fun, daughter had to stand in the corner with the whole restaurant pointing their finger at her. Food was good, just don't order the kids chicken nuggets. Yuck ! I had the fried chicken very good.
Disney quest - The pizza and pasta restaurant on the fifth floor of DQ is excellent. The ceasar salad is tossed fresh to order and the pizza is very tasty. It was a nice surprise for lunch and reasonably priced. I would say the best value at WDW.
