We just got home from the Wonder (after a brief stop in the MK). We had a wonderful time! This cruise was even more astounding than the first. Our only low point was two servers who, I don't think, liked each other very much. This resulted in SLOW service in the dining rooms, but fortunately that didn't really affect us much.

Anyway, anybody with any questions...just ask.

how was the food on the new menu? what stateroom did you have? what did you like about the cruise and if any dislike?

I am glad you are home safe and sound...I am glad to hear you had such a great time!!! Every cruise is better than the last... :cool1: It is too bad about your servers. I hope you mentioned this on the comment card. I think it is equally important. We rant and rave about EXCELLENT service, and we they should know when it isn't..

So, did u rebook onboard?????

Once again, glad you had a Won'derful time!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

Did you do any shore excursions? :Pinkbounc If so, I would love a review! Also, how was pirate night? pirate:

I am sorry for being so late getting back to my own thread. I had about 700 pictures to edit and print, my mouse finger really hurts! :rotfl2:

We did not rebook on board, although we are now kicking ourselves for not doing so. This trip was really more wonderful than the first, and I hadn't believed that to be possible.

Jacksmom, we didn't do any shore excursions, so I can't help with that. I will say that, now that I have taken my parents on shore in Nassau, I doubt seriously if we will even get off the ship next time.

Mommasita, we definately noted the service on the comment cards. It was really strange. I think they really just hated each other. They never talked, therefore coordination of service was the problem. We were usually one of the first tables seated and one of the last to leave. I personally wouldn't have really minded, but the long dinners were a bit hard on my kids. They got REALLY bored.

And Math, we were in adjoining secret porthole cabins, 5522 and 5524. They were absolutley wonderful! The food was outstanding, although I didn't notice huge changes from two years ago.

Pirate night was a blast (literally). We had had t-shirts made up, and those got the attention of several crew members, and even our cruise director. Because we read these boards religiously, we knew some of what to expect and were watching for Captain Jack Sparrow. We wound up right beneath where he started across the deck, and when he came out, we spoiled the surprise for those around us by waving at him. Oh well!

All I can say is...I wanna go back...and my nose hasn't even stopped peeling yet.

Welcome Back!
What did you think of the shows?

CRSNDSNY, the shows were wonderful. I was amazed at how much Hercules had been changed in the two years. The cultural references are so fresh...I honestly laughed so hard I nearly...well, you know.

I was not as impressed with the Golden Mickeys as I thought I would be. It was a good show, and very well done, with incredible performances. But it was just a little blah when sandwiched between Hercules and Disney Dreams. (Keeping in mind that "blah" in this case means better than you can see just about anywhere else. It was really good.)

Disney Dreams made me cry again. 'nough said.
