I just got back last night at about 11:00!!!! It was the best vacation I have ever had and I miss it so much! If anyone has any questions about anything there, please ask away!!!!!!

Hi! So glad you had a wonderful trip. That is great. Just wondering if you did any EMH morning or evening hours and how you found them to be crowd wise. We are going at the end of August and I am STILL not sure what if any EMH we will be doing. Where did you stay? Thanks and again. I am glad you had FUN!! :sunny:

Glad that you had a great time. I, too, hate to come home after a great trip. It means you have to come back to "reality". Where did you stay? and did you use the MYW dining option? :flower:

I hate to crash the OP’s thread…but we just got back this morning…and can give our .02 about EMH. The MK EMH PM was great for us. We walked on every single ride in under a minute. We rode 23 rides (sometimes we ran) from 9-12. The only thing was….that it rained hard from about 6-8 that night…so that could have cleared out the crowd or changed peoples minds? The Epcot EMH PM was NOT worth it. There were really only three rides (Soarin, MS, TT) that people came to ride and the wait was longer than normal.

Are we getting a trip reports! So many people just went, that board ought to be flooded w/in the next few days! :)

I know. I felt like I was living in a dream and now I am back in everyday, non-magical life. :guilty: Oh well, I am just that much closer to planning another one. :goodvibes

I stayed at Pop Century and LOVED it! I am gonna stay there from now on. I did not use the MYW dining option. I am not sure about all the ins and outs about it, but I know I did not use it.

The crowds were at diffenrent levels at each park. MGM was probably the least crowded (and thats GREAT for me since its my favorite) at about a level 4 out of 10. MK was about a 6 or 7 as well as Epcot. AK was about a 4 or 5. The most crowded rides seemed to be at Fantasyland.

We got the bracelets for EMH the Sunday night we got there (for MGM), but we ended up leaving before the park closed to the public (we were very tired). We did not do any other morning or evening EMH. I wanted to, but I just couldn't peel myself out of bed early enough in the morning. I wanted to do more at night, but MGM is the one I wanted to do and it was only open late on Sunday nights (I think). The crowds were not bad at all. They were the worst at Fantasyland in MK with those rides averaging 35-40 minute wait times. FastPass was the way to go with most MK rides.

We stayed at the POP and LOVED it. Best hotel! Will definitely be staying there from now on! :sunny:

So did you decide to ride the Tower of Terror??

:sunny:
We walked straight on 3 times.........
but I chickened out each time :(

I got all of our ride photos (except ToT, of course) and I am making a scrapbook so I needed a ToT picture. Hence, the one below......:

(In case you can't tell, he is trying to "drag" me onto the ride, but I am wincing and pulling away). I think it'll make for a cute page in the scrapbook! :goodvibes

I am going to TRY to make a trip report. I am such a detailed person that I will be writing for days so I can include everything. I don't want to leave an ounce of the magic out. It may be a while, but I will post one eventually! :sunny:

Thanks so much for the quick response. I do not blame you for having trouble getting up early for the EMH. A fun Disney trip is def. an exhausting one, in my opinion. I am also with you on MGM being your favorite park, mine too. I also will not go on the Tower of Terror anymore. I went on it several years ago, but have not gone on again since. That is a cute shot of you, I can feel your pain. LOL. My dh and son try to get to me to go each time we go, but I just can not get up the nerve. They love it!

Well, glad you had fun and have fun planning the next trip!! :sunny:

Thank you so much for the kind words. I am glad I am not the only one who is petrified of the ToT. I feel like the biggest idiot when I see young, young kids getting off saying, "I wanna go again!" I feel so embarrassed. Oh well! Maybe next time!

Oh, and I definitely agree with your statement that a fun Disney trip is exhasting! Boy, I had a blast and my 5 hour nap today is just a reflection of all of the fun I had!!!! :)

LOL.. just hold out hope that one day you'll go on it. It was my 5 year old's favorite ride :goodvibes

Miranda -
Who took those gorgeous photos of the two of you? Were they Disney photographers or people passing by? It's just me and my husband so we always have a tough time getting good photots of the two of us.

I have been on it twice--- back in 1998. It didn't bother me then, but I am intimidated by the "fear every drop" thing they implemented with the 4 random drops. That is what is scaring me! :scared1:

I feel your pain! Those were taken by the PhotoPass photograhers that stand around. I do not know if you have been to WDW recently, but they have started using this WONDERFUL new system where instead of handing out pieces of paper (one for each picture they take) you can use the same, hard plastic card. They take the pictures and then scan them. AND...... you don't have to buy them in the park. They are available for online viewing and purchasing three days after they were taken, but they disappear 30 days later. They are a ltitle more expensive if you buy offline (there are no package deals like there are in the parks), plus you have to pay shipping. Other than that, I LOVE PhotoPass. We ended up taking 45 pictures with them troughout our trip.

On the note about wanting to have both of you in the picture, we have the same problem. Three times while we were gone we had people offer (without asking them) to take our picture. It was very wonderful!!!! We also had people ignore our request for them to snap a quick picture. They were few and far betwee, but most people will be happy to snap the picture. I just ask if they would like me to take one of their whole family in return! :wizard:

I MADE myself ride TOT. (the whole "I'm going to conquer my fears" thing...got over that really quickly) I rode beside two 12 year old girls. I guess the one that was to my left saw that I was terrified. She goes "first time, huh?". I nodded. She said..."don't worry...I'll let you know when we are going to drop for the first time". I say thank you and slowly loosen my grip on the handles located on either side of me. I tried to enjoy the effects through the ride (everyone talks about how great they are...and they are good..at least what I saw of them) All of the sudden It's like I've forgotten where I am..and my little friend to the left of me goes..."we are about to drop in around 10 secs"...Next thing I know I'm holding on for dear life as I'm being dropped and taken back up...dropped and taken back up. I thought I was going to have a visit with the lunch I ate a couple of hours before. To make it worse...when I got off the ride..I got caught in the crowd checking out the pics from the ride.... EVERYONE I mean EVERYONE that I rode with had their hands up screaming looking like they were having a great time. I was holding onto my handles with all my strength...eyes closed...looking scared outta my mind.

So...bottom line...I rode it once...will NEVER ride it again. I think YOU are the smart one for chickening out!!! :earsgirl:

Great pictures by the way..you guys are a beautiful couple!!!

Thank you. That is so sweet of you! princess: I wish I had not chickened out. I feel like I missed out, but reading your experience makes me a little happier that I did chicken out. The Splash Mountain drop is big in my eyes, but ToT is like HUGE! I just don't like that feeling of dropping to go on for a long time. I also think part of my fear is that I often have "HELP! I'm trapped in a falling elevator!" dreams. While some people dream they ar naked in public or flying over crowds, here I am trapped in an endlessly falling elevator! :scared1:
