and Ill write a trip report sometime later....I have absolutely NO energy right now

it was a fun week...but I will NEVER go this time a year again....I expected large crowds, but this was WAY beyond anything I expected.....much, much too crowded

it was the first time I saw animal kingdom though.....what a beautiful park....we actually went there twice, when we had only planned to go once.....its now my second favorite park behind MK

Same here Stiff........we just returned last night. It was fun but waaaaaaaay too HOT and crowded! I'll stick to early Dec. and Jan. from now on.

it was hot, but that didnt bother me.....made me feel like I was on vacation

but the crowds, UGH

Hello, We're arriving at WDW on June 13th. I'm expecting it will be HOT and CROWDED, but it looks like it might be more crowded than a typical June, from what you all are saying.

We're planning on be at the parks at opening and heading back to POR to swim, rest, eat around noon and then going back to the parks during the evening hours. Were the crowds unbearable during the morning/evening hours also? I'm hoping this is true.

Thanks,
Corina

we did that the first few days and it worked much better

the following days, our scheduled stuff jsut didnt allow for it

we found if we were there for the opening, we could get a bunch of rides in before the crowds got too bad....about 11, its starts getting REALLY thick. by 2:00, it was unbearable

but nights did seem to thin out a bit

Stiff, (trying not to giggle at that one....):earseek:
My family loves CBR but we find it way too spread out. Looking at the resort map online of POFQ everything seems all together. What building did you stay at and was everything within a short walk (bus stop, guest services, food court, pool, etc.)? My daughter's arthritis gets more bothersome each year and long walks to everything turn into moutains to climb. I booked by first deluxe trying to get a compact resort but would love to save and stay at a moderate.
Thanks!
:wave2:

we stayed in building 5...and that was perfect

but honestly, at POFQ, there arent really any long walks to anything. It is a very compact resort. It was nice to not have to walk long after an entire day in the parks.

from our building, we could even be at the lobby in POR in 5 minutes...it was about a 30 second walk to the pool, 45 seconds to the boat launch, 2 minutes to the bus stop, 2 to the lobby/food court

if you are looking for less walking at resorts, this one is for you
