We got back yesterday from 8 days at WDW. I will do a trip report, but wanted to share a few things here.
First, my thanks to everyone who shared info that helped me plan our trip. It went very well and I know that is because thru your generosity of sharing info, I knew what to expect and plan for.
Here are a few highlights (our kids are 3 & 5)...
1. Strollers - we rented a double at each of the parks. Worked out great for us. The kids wanted to ride in them and we were able to place our backpack on top at all of them except at MGM.
2. Guest of honor badges - I was so pleased we got them. So many of the cast members referred to the kids by name. My dd, 3, kept saying, "they remember me, Mommy". We had them added to the Disney gift baskets we ordered from Gifts of a Lifetime. Jane had them waiting at the front desk for us on arrival. They especially liked that the characters that talked (like the Princesses) called them by name.
3. Daily surprises - I had bought surprises for the kids for each day and took them down with us. I put them out in the room each morning when we left (after they had walked out of the room). They looked forward to getting back to the room each evening to see what was awaiting them. I included some items that are useful like t-shirts, beach towels, pjs, etc.
4. KIDCOT - program in EPCOT made it fun for the kids to tour the countries. They really enjoyed doing the masks and having their passports stamped and signed.
Just wanted to share those highlights.
