We just got back from a 7 night FTP at POR. We had a great time, but 7nights was not enough!!!!! I loved our hotel, but unfortunately didnt get to enjoy it much, as we were busy running all the time to the parks. We would leave very early every morning and rarely would return to our room untill 9 or 10 at night. We rode almost everything at every park, and some things over and over. I LOVE the fast passes. I would never wait more than say 30 to 40 min in a line for anything anymore. It was really crowded and very hot, but not unbearable. Disney is great at keeping the lines moving...even the longs ones dont seem so bad because your constantly moving. Lets see our favorite rides were tower of terror, splash mountain, buzz lightyear (which we did a ton of times!), and pirates of the caribbean. There were many times-especially late in the afternoon or very early morning when we could just walk right into a ride. Who wants to be a millionaire was alot of fun, we did that 3 or 4 times, my son got on the board, but none of us ever made it to the hot seat. We finally got to spend alot of time at epcot on Saturday-it rained most of the day, and I guess that helped, because it wasnt crowded at all and all the rides were pretty much you walk right on...except for test track, but even that wasnt bad if you got in the singles line...it took maybe 20 minutes. The kids really liked Disney Quest also. I cant wait to go back again...in 2005. Is it possible to book for that now???? The things we just didnt get the time to do were....the boatride to DTD from our hotel, Indiana Jones, The whinnie the pooh ride, and I did want to take an airboat ride outside of disney also that we didnt get to. We also only got to visit our hotel pool twice, both around midnight! Anyone have any questions? Please feel free to ask.

Welcome back!

I sounds like y'all had a great time. We did the FTP also. I don't see how we'll ever be able to stay for less that a week again.

Although I planned alot, we did not get to a lot! We missed Fantasmic, Illuminations, SpectroMagic. I must say I'm alittle jealous that you spent so much time in the parks.

How old is your child(children)? How was Disney Quest? I think you boys would have really liked DQ. Did you do any of the waterparks?

Thanks for sharing. I love hearing about everyone's trips.

My kids are 14 yr old boy, 11 yr old girl, and 5 yr old boy. We didnt get to spend enough time at disney quest...we went once for about 2 hours...and the kids really really wanted to go back again, but we ran out of time. We only got to one water park-blizzard beach. We were going to go on Saturday, but before we got there it started raining, and rained all day! Oh well...theres always next time. We did get to see Fantasmic. I was a little disappointed about the seating though. We did the dinner package, and were told to arrive half an hour before 9 when it started. Well we probably got there 40 min before 9 and it was packed...I thought we would have reserved seating, but it was already almost filled...we had to squeeze in an aisle, and we saw some people w/the blue papers that gave us the entry being turned away! I didnt think that could happen. We saw one firework display at magic Kingdom and the 3 pm parade there, and that was it! No other parades or firework shows the whole week!!! Where did the time go???
