Hi Annie O.
By cutbacks I am referring to various threads and posts on the Dis Boards from frequent visitors and CMs about Disney cutting back due to visitor numbers being down. I was a little worried before I went that if the stuff that makes Disney the best got too diluted then it would be just another amusement park. The things I noticed didn't take anything away from my holiday.
1) I never saw any attraction running fully. BTMR one loading station only operational etc. During the first week the crowds were really light and everything was five minutes or less anyway. The only time this was a problem was on Startours. We decided to go in the standby line which was posting 20 minutes so we thought maybe 15 but we waited an hour. there were people alongside us in the fastpass line that waited 15 minutes. When we got to the front only 2 of the 6 Simulators were operative.
2) The horseshoe revue was shortened (no Dancers).
3) COP closed
4) Timekeeper closed. A CM said temporarily but they have put benches infront of the entrance and removed all the advertising. You would not easily find it if you didn't know where it was.
5) Aunt Pollys closed
6) Lots of snack carts closed
7) Some attractions not open at park opening and closing before park closing
8) There just seemed less CMs about. BTW the ones we saw were great, just as cheerful and efficient as always.
We had a great time. we only came back to make enough money to go again!!
