I am hoping this becomes a continuous diary-journal type place where people who have just come back will share tips and inside info that they found while they were there. For example, weather (temperature for day and night), what they wish they brought with them, closed attractions, good and bad experiences.
We leave in 6 days...I just saw a post from someone who just came back yesterday stating that it was cold...so I am going to pack a heavier jacket than originally planned. We are staying in Pop...someone posted that the 70s building has just been refurbished...so we may request that building.
If there is already a thread like this, sorry...I could not find it. (Let me know how to reach it if you know of one...)
Thanks...I appreciate all the inside info I can get!:surfweb:

Mkay,

Just remember things like cold are relative. I live in WI so when I'm down there in December and it's 50 degrees and everybody is complaining about the cold, I'm still in shorts.

That said, I like your idea. I hope it catches on.

I get that cold is relative, but we are here now and it is cold and windy. Sunny during day, but I still couldn't brave shorts or the pool. I was bummed!!! At night, we had gloves and wished we brought warmer clothes. Pack everything!!

Can't wait to hear from more people. We'll be down in 11 days. Keep the reports rolling in and I'll share when we get back. :yay::yay:

anyone just back???? Trying to figure out if these Texans need more than jeans and sweatshirts for morning and evenings. I read this week is high 50's-70's, but next week is low 50's-70's...that's when we'll be there!

I just got back on 3/6. We were freezing at night (it was windy and cold) and we wore our coats and gloves. I am from Pennsylvania near Lake Erie and cold is something I am used to dealing with. I cannot imagine the fun we would have missed if we had not brought our coats and mittens and jeans. Our forcasted temps were low 50-mid 60, but if it wasn't sunny, it was cold to me. We had on a sweatshirt and jeans every day and we layered underneath in case it warmed up. We barely wore shorts the whole trip. Be sure to pack for all weather, because it seems like this weather lately is very unpredictable. we had some "bus friends" from Key West and they just kept saying how odd it was for it to be like this in March.

I would love to hear how cold it is during mid december! I am from massachusetts so I am sure itll be waaay nicer than our weather in decemeber:lmao:! anyone from the northeast that has been in mid december that could tell me how the weather is then and what I should plan on bringing!

You have to plan for any type of weather- marathon morning in Disney this January was 32 degrees and sleeting- not exactly Florida weather.Very unpredictable.Last January 2009 it reached 85 degrees marathon day.

Layers!
