I'm just back from a quick adult only weekend trip to the World
It was hot and crowded like we had expected, but still managed to have a great time. We hit Epcot twice, MGM twice and MK once all on Saturday, LOL! We did a lot of hopping, but since we only had 1 park day, we had to try to fit everything in.
LOVED Soarin!!! Very cool ride! We entered Epcot through International Gateway and were the second people coming in from that side. We ended up in the first ride of the day at Soarin, however it bothered us that they still made us wait until 9:20 until they let us on. They must have a good reason, but we didnt get it...especially knowing how fast the line grows.
One other thing that bothered me a bit was the wait time on the board at MGM was off by 1 hour for TOT! We planned to do RNR and TOT, and get a FP for whichever line was longer. TOT said a 13 minutes wait(walk on) so we got FPS for RNR which had a 30 minute wait. We then went to TOT and it was actually a 60 minute wait. UGH! But we got through it and rode with a new sequence we had never had before. We actually went up first. It was probaby one of the best rides we have had on it.
We had a blast in WS in Epcot. Our kids had packed a tiny toy dinosaur in our luggage and we found him when we unpacked. So we took Dino around WS and took pictures of him in each country. We even got Aladdin to hold him for a picture in Morroco. People thought we were nuts, but the kids think the pictures are hysterical.
PI and Jellyrolls were lots of fun too. There were some interesting people at Jellyrolls, LOL!
With the exception of a few line cutters, most people were very polite and friendly. CMs were all great.
The Swan was wonderful as usual. We really enjoyed the DJ at the (Dolphin)pool playng music. I didnt realize they had that. We also had a lot of great food and drinks(I hope to get dining reviews done soon).
All in all it was a wonderful way to spend our 10th anniversary. Any questions, just ask!
