Well, the picture lies!! We need rain pretty badly here in MI but it is actually dying as it passes over Lake Michigan. Second day in a row where we were supposed to get great days of showers. Instead sunny and mid 80s.

You must live in a different part of MI than I do. We've had quite a bit of rain here in my area, about 30 minutes north of Ann Arbor.

I am in the same area and it poured Saturday a few times (I was going to go the races North of Flint and they rained out) and then rained hard during the night. The only decent day of the holiday weekend was Monday and I had to work.

We could use some rain here I'm in the panhandle of Florida. I really hope we get some of the rain.

Thanks!!! Hey neighbor it's cool finding someone that we were so close to here on the dis boards. I hope your DS had a great birthday at the fort.

I know! I was surprised when I got home and found out that you and Kajunswty were both right across from us and we didn't even know it. I guess If I was a good disser I would have decorated with lime green!

My son did have a great birthday at the fort! On our arrival night I surprised him with a special birthday wishes cruise. My kids were both so surprised. They thought we were going down to the marina to catch the boat over to the WL to eat at WC. Then a pontoon boat shows up decorated in balloons. The kids still didn't get it. Then the boat captian comes up to us and asks our name and if we are waiting on a specialty cruise. The kids finally realized what was going on as we were being led to the boat. My dd was disappointed that we weren't going to eat at WC! But I had ordered pizza and birthday cake to eat on the boat and we all had a great time watching the water parade and wishes on a boat by ourselves with no crowds! It was great!
