What a wonderful time! The babies had a great time. They were wonderful! The MK was crowded on Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues, but great otherwise. Te little ones EMH was fun! My twins loved all the characters.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Glad you had such a great time :) . Good for you getting them started early :thumbsup2 !!

Sounds like you had a great time. My DS is going for the first time the beginning of Dec. He will be 11 months old. What attractions did your twins like the most? Any tips you have would be welcomed. My DH and I are really looking forward to the trip especially since we have a little one going with us.

Our twins loved Dumbo and the Carpets the best. They liked being outside and flying. But inb reality, they liked everything: pooh, snow white, IASW, Peter Pan, Pirates, Maelstrom, Nemo, TTA, Buzz...we took them on everything. They were great. They just got a kick out of watching everything. They loved the characters too. MAke sure you do a Little ones EMH, they loved playing with Pooh.

Ask away!

Where your twins taking one or two naps a day by then? How did they react to the characters? My son is great with people he does not know and does not seem to get stressed around new people at all. Are they still using bottles? Where did you stay? I am sure I will have more questions but here are a few to start with.

We stayed at OKW, as we rented points. They loved the characters. They are taking 1-2 naps naps, depending on the day. We would get to the parks at 8 (EMH) and by 10ish they fell asleep in their stroller. They are using bottles, I took the to go powdered formula packets, and brought room temperature water to mix.

Hope that helps!

Dana30...Sounds like you had a great time....congrats on the twins!

DH and I have 4 month old twins (our only children) and he is trying to convince me on a December trip when they'd be 6 months. I'm scared and thinking that the 16-18 month timeframe will be easier to handle. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I think it will be easier when they cannot walk yet. 16 months, they are much more opinionated and demanding. I say go when they are 6 months, and again at 16 months!

I think either will be fine, depends on the both of you and how often you will go. Enjoy it. It was so worth it!

We took DS at 8, 14, and 18 mths of age. I would say go when they are younger--it was much easier.

I think it depends on the child. We took DD when she was 16 months and it was wonderful and so magical for her. She loved the rides and the characters. She has a very easy personality so I think that has a lot to do with it. We are now going at Christmas with our DD(3 yrs. old) and DS(8 months old-see other post). I am not expecting it to be too hard since he seems to have a very similar personality, maybe even more laid back. Not that we won't have our moments but overall I think we are going to have a wonderful time. Like I said, I think it depends a lot on the child, as well as the parents and how well you handle fussy periods(whether you get frazzled easily or not). We take our kids everywhere(DH is a high school football coach) so they have had a lot of experience with dealing with the elements, crazy schedules, and having a lot of patience(having to sit through long, cold games).

Our kids liked being out all day. They loved rides, seeing all the other kids etc. It was a really nice way to truly bond with them. We gave them a day to sleep in and play. They needed it. I expected the trip to be rough, it was fabulous. Go with very low expectations. You probably will be very surprised.

We took our twins to Disneyland when they were 11 months old. We had a lot of fun. They loved the rides and sites. They did get a little cranky when they were tired, but soon fell asleep in their stroller as we walked. We took them to San Diego zoo and Seaworld when they were 18 months- that was a little harder because they wanted to get out of the stroller and walk and it was so crowded. They had a lot of tantrums and wouldn't sit through any shows. It was much more difficult. We are planning to take them to Disneyworld next September when they will be 2 1/2, so I hope it goes well. We are lowering our expectations and plan to have quiet times at the pool and let them run around the grounds of our hotel.
