Our family just returned from a great week at WL for Mardi Gras! I felt like the crowds were lower than our last several trips in Feb, July and May. The weather was great and had a wonderful time. We had trouble with our bands for fp+ but nothing else. When our family split up due to ages of kids sometimes our bands didn't work. At kiosks and guest relations no one knew why, everything looked good on the computer. It became frustrating after 2nd day so at HS they contacted IT but still not fixed. I went to con desk at WL and they ended up just giving us 4 yellow tickets per day for the park we would be at to use at our decided time. I noticed lots of people having these passes so obviously still lots of issues! The soarin fp line machines went down one day which resulted in a hour wait in fastpass line bc everyone jumped in and they waited to long to stop the line. Armbands take too long to scan and when lines get really long they only scan 1 person in the party. It appears like they have lots of work to do before this system works well. We decided not to upgrade to AP and skip next year because of it. We had a great time but will spend our vacation money somewhere else until I feel satisfied with changes in this system. We did have a fastpass set up at be our guest with food preordered and that was a quick wonderful system:)

It's awesome you had great weather!!! At this time of the year, that just isn't dependable but it makes such a big difference with so many outdoor activities, including all of the pools. We loved BOG too - I hope they have more perks like this for onsite guests because that was our favourite new thing this trip.

Good to hear they have something in place when the system isn't working :thumbsup2 And I agree, armbands do take longer.
 
It sounds like you had a good attitude and enjoyed your trip on the whole. Your post does make me wonder if they perhaps stopped the backup KTTW cards prematurely. It sounds like having those may have saved you some time in line trying to sort out the bands. Glad you had a good trip :)
