You just cannot win with nursing in public! I swear!! And it is sad that a mother made a comment...people are so RUDE...I cannot imagine every having the gull to say anything. But I guess as a nursing mother I am biased. But with that said, I have a dear friend who is nursing her son and will whip it out ANYWHERE with no or minimal covering...my DH (she also did it in front of my dad and mom) commented to me and I finally had to say to her that it would be nice if she made it more discrete...that just because I don't cover myself in front of my DH doesn't mean that she shouldn't...you know??
One complaint that I have about WDW is their nursing facilities. They have the one place in Magic Kingdom up by the Crystal Palace...it is a large room with about 4 rocking chairs (and everytime I went in there it was PACKED and I ended up sitting on the floor)...not that I mind nursing in front of other women but it is too much...my DD needed a little bit more one on one since she was in overload. I really liked the nursing facilities at SeaWorld, there were more of them for one and you had a nice private room with a rocking chair, changing table, etc. It was nice to go in there and give the baby some one on one time...I know she liked that too.
And remember that they have a little "pharmacy like place" in the care center where the nursing room is...we were surprised because DD managed to lose a bunch of nuks so one day we had to go buy her some (and we had to buy diaper rash cream) and they were maybe a dollar more each then we would have paid at Target...that really surprised me because I figured that they would cost a LOT more. But they also sell diapers, meds, etc.
