Although we just got back from our family VWL trip in January, the Lodge managed to call us back for a spontaneous sans children trip last week. We used our BCV points and on short notice MS was able to "create" a room for us despite being competely booked. Only at check did we learn that they did this by opening up an available accessable room. We were fine with this but it just would have been nice if MS was upfront with us when we booked. We missed the bathtub a little and had to work around the smaller closet and counter space but without children it was no big deal. In fact for couples on a waitlist for a studio on short notice, this may be a viable option. Only complaint was that we were never able to open our balconey door for long due to the near constant smell of cigarette smoke from our neighbors below. Interesting that its ok to release known carcinogens and pulmonary irritants into public places as long as its in the form of tobacco smoke. Happy to answer any questions.
