We just got back from 5 days/4 nights. Thought I'd pass along some observations.

Attraction Assistance Pass- Our 4 year old has multiple neurological issues, including a seizure disorder and sensory issues. This was our second time using the AAP and it was a lifesaver for our family. We also had the wheelchair as stroller pass, which was also a lifesaver as we navigated the queues. Previous trips he was only willing to ride the Suess carosel and one fish, two fish in IOA. This trip we managed to get him on Minions, the trolley in the sky, and twirl and hurl. He loved the lazy river in Volcano Bay, and did a couple of trips down the rapid river too! My best advice for parents in our situation is to talk to guest services about the pass and be prepared to trade off. We did a mid-day break every day to reset and that helped as well.

Cabana Bay- Love this hotel. We stay in the family suites (family of 5) and bring breakfast to eat in the room. This trip we tried to eat one meal out, either lunch or dinner, and eat sandwiches or leftovers in the room for the other meal. The walk to Volcano Bay is fantastic. Buses to the other parks is efficient, never had to wait more than 5 minutes.

Crowds- We went Tues-Saturday. The crowds and wait times were manageable every day but Saturday. We were also tired and less patient, but Saturday was wall-to-wall people. We were prepared since it was Memorial Day weekend. Still, wait times were not bad, even without Express Pass. On Wednesday afternoon, Volcano Bay reached capacity. We didn't know this (later found out you can check in the app) but since we were on-site hotel guests, we were allowed in.

Hope this helps anyone heading down soon!

Im so glad to hear you had a great trip! Your post was very helpful, thanks!

I cannot wait to go to the lazy river at Volcano bay- I know there are slides and such, but I want to just float my cares away.....

That's great your son was able to enjoy so many rides! and the crowds were manageable!! We were there 5/24-5/27 and were grateful that the weather was better than predicted! Hope you're able to go back soon!!

Be careful floating - there are a couple of spots you can be hit with deluges! Sometimes I paddle around to avoid them, other times I just let them pour all over me.

Hi glad you had a great trip! Before we started staying on-site we use to get the Attraction Assistance Pass. My DD has Asperger's so I totally understand how it can be difficult visiting the parks. We now get the EP included so there is no need for the pass but I am so grateful for the parks offering these. It really makes a difference in the experience.

CBBR is my fave resort! It is so much fun there with lots to do. I agree the walk to VB is amazing! I did have EP with VB last year when they were selling ahead of time but not sure if we will be able to this year. I am planning late day and early morning for my daughter without it.

Thanks for posting your experience!
