Just Back! Upgraded at WL...

Surprise, surprise.

We booked a Woods View, bunk bed room. Upgraded with code to Courtyard bunk bed room. At check-in, the desk clerk whispers, "You've been upgraded to the concierge floor!" I had to ask her to repeat that. I wasn't sure I heard her correctly.

When we made our way to the 7th floor, the gentleman at the concierge desk said we were probably just relocated because they had overbooked our room of choice.

Hear I was thinking that Disney somehow knew that this 5 day trip was to celebrate my 50th birthday six months late because I was having radiation treatment for breast cancer on my actual birthday.

No matter, it was a nice treat! More after laundry.

That's wonderful!!! That had to be some surprise. And Happy Belated 50th Birthday!!

We are staying at AKL this Dec and were originally booked in a standard. We just upgraded to a savanna bunkbed room. I sure hope we get your pixiedust and get upgraded to concierge.

I really hope we get upgraded too. We have woodsview but hoping for courtyard. They didn't have it available when I booked my trip.
