Just back today 9/23...Parks crowded over this weekend

that's really neat! Wow...I'll have to check into that sometime!!

Now if I can only figure out about transportation...:)

I'm surprised Universal was pretty crowded for September, no less! Was it a school holiday? Was there a convention?

BTW, FFE, can't you get a job at McDonald's or at a mall store? My first job was a bagger at Winn-Dixie. I've moved on to bigger and better things and soon to open a Ghostbusters franchise. I bought one back in '91 when they were selling them at Universal. :)

LOL Barry!

First off, there's no way I'm working at a fast food restaurant...that's a nasty business...I like the food, but I don't want to know how the stuff is made!! :p

And you forget...there is no mall in my town...it's a good 25 - 30 minute drive from here... I'd have better luck getting my mom to take me to Universal for a job (with a 30 minute drive from Lakeland) than to the mall for a job (at least at Universal she can hang out and have an excuse to go on MIB all day...). :)

I'm also surprised about the crowd.
On another message board, someone posted that CP was also packed last Saturday.
I guess everyone needed a coaster "fix" and went. Plus most people have a season pass, so they want to get their money's worth.

Magic Kingdom was packed Saturday. I went for a hair cut and waited an hour and a half. Sunday before noon USO was great.

To the person who posted and asked if it seemed hotter in the Universal parks.....

I think the days we were there it did, US may have more concrete and pavement than some of the Disney parks is my thought on it which makes it seem hotter.

Shrek ran out of Express Passes on saturday, we tried to get one before we headed back over to see the last Sinbad show.

Saw the last Sinbad show until November on saturday, not a huge crowd but doubt a lot of people knew that. Thought they might do something special for it, but no..same show as usual.

Agree. I also went from Disney to IOA in the afternoon and it was hot. The colored concrete seems to soak in the sun, especially in the Suess landing area. Whereas Disney is asphalt with more trees.
