1. Disney is a magical place that brings out the best in kids...My kids were terriffic on the trip...had a couple of moments but alot better than a average day at home.

2. Disney brings out the worst in some people. Some people are just rude. example at the Dec 7th christmas party we were sitting on main street for the parade about 10 minutes before the scheduled time this lady starts hollering at her kids and at every cast member that went by "when is this parade gonna start, yall need to hurry up"...just stupid stuff...I told my wife in a loud voice as this lady was right next to us "if some people would read there times guide they would know when the parade started...she looked at me and sat down and was quiet the rest of the parade....people cutting in line like crazy I finally had enuff after the 3rd time and showed myself....sorry I had been waiting in line for 30 minutes and these young girls just walked up and got right in front of me....

3. People do not watch out for kids....My 2 boys were always getting knocked around and then they would get looked at funny when the adult almost fell down....we did our best to keep our kids right with us but the zigging and the zagging....we only had this problem twice...Monday at Spectro and tues at the party.

4. Tuesday the 7th christmas party was jam packed. we did this again this year as last year was terriffic no crowds nothing but this year HoLY TOLEDO it was chaos....ride waits were 45 minutes or better till after the 2nd parade...We couldnt even get into the show in tomorrowland spent hour and a half sitting waitng on the parade...the 2nd parade that is....only good thing was the pictures even though the line was long only took about 20 minutes to get them done.

5. Crowds this year were bigger than last year. MK was busy Monday as was AK we went to both...Tues at MK was great till around 4 and the party was a mob, Thurs we went to MGM no too bad....20-30 minutes was the biggest standby wait...Fri IOA....perfect....toured the park 2 times no lines...Hulk was only 10 minutes all day....US we toured that 3 times in the same day no lines....only ones on jaws...Mummy got a 50 minute wait in the last hour of the park opening but we rode it 5 times that day....good ride....Epcot on Sat was a mob scene

6. Ohanas was not as good as publicized, Whispering Canyon was great, Sci fi was great, and Garden Grill was super great catfish, Crystal Palace took for ever for characters to get to table, Chef Mickeys good as usual, Mythos at IOA over rated, and my youngest sons favorite meal was at Akershus in Norway to my suprise, the Venison stew was great.

7. Candelight Processional was out of this world, we had a dinner package but still got in line 2 hours before our show times...we were 2nd in line and we sat in the 4th row center...perfect...any closer and my wife would not have been able to see Joshua Morrow who she loves more than me....I think....she says she loves me more but she has never screamed like that for me.....

8. Hoop Dee Doo was a very good show. Not what I was expecting but still very good. Food was very good....Drank my moneys worth on beer.

9. We stayed at the all star movies, Toy Story...the building was great but the Housekeeping was terrible, I had to call for towels 2 times, called for plastic cups 2 times finally gave up on those and were still never left any each day, We got in one day and the bed was twisted around and the remote was on the floor between the bedside table and the bed with the batteries everywhere...I called for them to fix it that night I sat up for 2 hours waiting no one ever showed had to call again the next night and they finally came up to fix. I was really upset with the all stars about this. We stayed at the Sports last year and had no problems...I still never said anything when I checked out maybe I should have...

all in all it was a great trip, My son went on his first upside down roller coaster at age 8 and loved it, my 4 year old loved Tower of Terror and Jurrassic Park and HM, My wife got to see Joshua Morrow I kept it from her till about a hour before our show started... and she got a 80 minute Massage at the GF spa, I got to see eeyore and eat some good food. My oldest cried when it was time to leave, My youngest woke up this morning and said what are we riding today...and My wife just told me we can go again next year...WOO HOO....Maybe she does love me more than Joshua or maybe she just hopes to see him again either way I get to plan and go back AGAIN....

Great review! I am glad you had a good time! I think I need to another time of year now! I mean you get Disney AND Joshua Morrow! I didn't think there was anything better than Disney! WOW! I am sure your wife loves you but Joshua is sooo cute! Don't feel bad! lol :flower1:

I am glad you had a great trip! You are right about those rude people though. A couple of times everyday I had to keep my temper under control because of people like that. I had a woman knock my 3 year old son down and just walked off looking like what?? I had to keep myself from beating her. I did make some comments out loud as I was picking him up though. I had ducked down to get something out of my son's bag during Wishes and this woman came and stood practically on top of me. I was like, "will you get off of me please". Just crazy stuff like this the whole week. But we had a blast!

Well We were close and I had my camcorder filming the CP mostly zoomed in on him...I also took bunch of snapshots of himm real close up...So she should be happy...next year maybe Brittany Spears or Eliza Dushku or Alyssa Milano....LOL....

One thing I left out....If there is a Character around there is probably a line and someone taking a picture....So look just dont tell your kids to go on u p there....This happened to us 2 or 3 times....my kids getting ready to gu up after waiting in a line and out of the blue you here PLUTO go get him kids....and 3 or 4 kids run up there and tackle him....I understand the excitement but my kids are just as excited....so wait your turn...

and another thing...SORRY....when the CM says move all the way to the end of the row that does not mean stop in the middle....IN english it means move all the way to the end of the row....we had to walk over people for ever 3-d show we saw....finally in Epcott our last day....we were entering and people were sitting there in the middle of the rows and I told my wife very loudly since none of these people cannot follow directiins neither are we....so we plopped down too....wrong of me probably but sometimes you just get enuff...I guess

We were also at the Dec. 7 MVMCP. Wow, it was much more crowded than last year. We never got a picture because the kids pooped out.

We saw all of the 3 D Shows except Honey I shrunk the audience. The problem comes in part is that only Mickey's Philharmagic required everyone to move to the end. In Muppets and Bug Life we were told to take a seat anywhere because we went during EE and it wasn't full. :3dglasses There was a family (and there always is at least one) in Philharmagic that did not go to the end. The CM stood right at the end of their row and they still did not move. The CM told the people behind them to go ahead and step on them since they didn't listen. I would have done a little "Raindance" number on them myself.

You're right about the zig-zagging. It is exhausting trying not to hit anyone when they step in front of the stroller.

Sounds like you had a wonderrful, all in all!! Some people just need to relax and smell the roses......or turkey legs!!!! I love the Sci-Fi and do not care for Ohanas!! I'm also looking forward to my Hoop Dee Doo time!
Thanks!!

....

Agree... it was VERY crowded this night!

We were there the 7th too for the MVMCP. This was our first 'park' day- so our kids weren't really in to see any of the shows. We got there at 4 and we rode everything in FL & FrtrL until they shuttled us over to TL. We never did get a picture because of the lines; or for that matter found the cookies & cocoa - but we had soooo much fun that night. The parade was awesome and Wishes was great! This was my first MVMCP so I'm interested to hear how this compared - crowd wise to years past. So far it sounds like its been alot more crowded.
Thanks
Deb :D

Compared to the same Tuesday last year it was 4 times more crowded....last year it was like the first hour and a half the park is open the entire night....we could easilt walk from Buzz to SM with turning to go around someone....This year as you saw not the case.....It was crazy....We had our picture taken right across from stitch an although the line looked terrible it moved fast....we started right at the doors and it only took 20 minutes they had several Photographers inside...and there was not time to smile they got you in htere and snapped the picture....Our kids got a cut color and Pixie dust at the Barber shop so it ought to be a good picture.....they got alot of attention by getting that done they loved it...the youngest was ornage and the oldest was blue

Well, I can understand that if the shows are full. However, every single show we saw was half or less full. So, everyone congregated in the middle of the theater and it worked out just fine. At one show though, there was a family in the row behind us and the mother said very loudly 'well, since these people won't move down to the end of the row like they're supposed to, we'll just have to step over them and follow the rules ourselves!' And that's exactly what they did. Moved all the way to the end of the row even though the theater was only 1/3 full and the door was closed so nobody else was going to be coming in, while everyone else had a great seat closer to the center. They looked pretty stupid all stuck over to one side far away from the rest of the audience, but at least they followed the rules.

But I do agree, if it's obvious the theater is going to be close to full then yeah, you should move all the way to the end. But when it's just you and 40 other people I think you can make exceptions.

We were also at the Dec 7th MVMCP. While I agree that it was busy along the pathways and especially in Tomorrowland around 6, we didn't find waits for the rides to be long at all. I walked on Space Mountain, BTMRR, Fantasmic, the Carrousel, Snow White, etc. My DH waited about 5-10 minutes in the holding pen to get into the briefing room for Stitch. We waited less than 10 minutes to get on Dumbo. Walked on HM. Plopped down for the parade about 15 minutes before it hit Frontierland and had a great view. Walked right up to the counter at Columbia Harbour House for our cocoa and cookies. I dunno, I guess I don't really think it was that bad at all, we were pretty happy with it. But if it was significantly slower last year then it must have been fabulous!

Glad you liked Sci-Fi, it gets a lot of flack but we had a great meal there and the atmosphere is fabulous.
