From our first OKW stay. I cannot praise this place enough. Everything and everyone was wonderful. We checked in around nine in the morning last sunday and there was no one else in line. Our rooms were not ready and weren't until around four but that's what we had planned anyway so it worked out well for us. We received everything we requested. South Point Road area, view of the river, upper floor, units close to each other. We had a 2-bedroom lock off and a separate 1-bedroom. Our view was fantastic. Our rooms were right on the riverbank (4625 & 4626) and we had a large family of ducks right under our balcony each and every morning. The rooms were clean and shockingly spacious. How I wish Disney would have followed the same lay out with all of the DVC resorts. DH and I could have "lived" forever happy in one of those 2-bedroom villas. I was sad to leave and cannot wait to spend future vacations at this gorgeous place. You OKW owners have every right to be proud of your "home".

It absolutely was. We had initially requested possibly 45 or 56 but 46 was great. Very quiet except for the ducks which we loved hearing. Our grandson (21/2) loved all of the boat traffic. We had our own cars so being far from the front wasn't a problem although we did see several folks walking so I don't think it was extremely far. My only negative was that we didn't get to spend as much time there as I would have liked. The parks were very crowded so we ended up being there til closing each night.

Also recently back from our first ever DVC stay which also was at OKW. We had waitlisted AKV, BWV, and BCV. None came through. And what a great thing that was! We loved OKW. Checked in around 2 and our studio was ready. Room 2424, close to evreything! Every CM was great. The studio was in perfect shape. Clean, evrything in working order, well stocked.

Ate twice at Olivia's and spent most of our last evening at the Gurgling Suitcase with some great OKW owners. As the op said, you OKW owners should be very proud.

Like everyone else, DW and I began discussing adding on the minute we purchased our original contract. We want our first add on to be at a second home resort. We were considering BWV or BCV, but now we are really considering OKW. Great room sizes, reasonable points and dues, and just a beautiful resort where we felt so at home!
