made our trip more enjoyable by:

Printing out Southwest airlines boarding passes at midnight before our morning flight.
Faxing our room assignment request to Pop Century four days before arrival and checking in to just what we needed.
Experiencing the Pirate Adventure Dinner outside WDW, which was a hoot.
Visiting the Finding Nemo room in the Living Seas at Epcot.
Having Mom score the highest score at Buzz Lightyear!
Eating at Beaches and Cream at Y&B Club.
Sharing an Illuminations Cruise (thank you!).
Arriving at MK at night in time for Wishes.
Choosing the relaxation of Typhoon Lagoon over BB.
Making sure we saw Philharmagic at MK.

Thanks for all the great suggestions on these boards.

Wow..sounds like you had a great time! :Pinkbounc

I know I've learned A LOT from these boards too and I can't wait to put it all to good use when we leave soon. :D

Hi,
Can you explain about the Southwest boarding passes?
Thanks!
Whoa...single digit dance time!!!:jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1:

I am going to enjoy a water park for the first time this trip with DH, DS8, and DD6. Can I ask why you found typhhoon lagoon more relaxing? I have never been to either so any input would be great.

Hi Ariel's Mom
Congratulations on your great tip. I would also welcome more info on the Southwest boarding passes and your preference for Typhoon Lagoon over Blizzard Beach. I am also looking for relaxation on at least one day.:)

41 days til we leave for first trip to WDW in 20 Years::yes:: ::yes::

Regarding Southwest, take a look at the Transportation board for more info. I made our airline reservation online quite awhile ago and then read on the board that boarding passes with the A,B, or C assignments could be printed out after midnight the day of travel. The hitch is that each person in your party has to have their own reservation confirmation number. I called Southwest and the agent was very nice about separating our reservation into separate confirmations, though she did say that there had been some problems with people getting their online boarding passes. We stayed overnight near the airport and the hotel desk was nice enough to let me use the business center computer and printer at midnight to retrieve our boarding passes. I did not have any problem and had A passes for all of us so I felt comfortable getting to the airport an hour and a half ahead of time rather than earlier to have the better boarding. When we arrived we checked our luggage in at the desk (you can also use curbside check-in, too).

Regarding Typhoon Lagoon, this was our first trip with friends accompanying our daughters so we had four teenagers. What I found was that they really wanted pool time as much as park time so Typhoon Lagoon worked out well. Before we left, I emailed info about both water parks from the boards to my girls and asked then to decide which water park they wanted as we could only do one. At Typhoon Lagoon you can hit the slides for more thrilling activities or you can just lay out on the sandy beach or lounge in a tube in the lazy river that goes around the park. We did a few slides but really liked just hanging out at the "beach" or swimming in the wave pool.
