Just back: Sept 9-16

Had an awesome trip, some of which was made extra great by reading here on the dis and tips from all of you. We did 6 days of park hopping to all 4 parks. Here are a few things those of you travelling soon might like to know:

1. Crowds were moderate in my opinion. Definitely do-able, especially if you can do rope drop

2. Weather was crazy hot, as expected. They called for rain everyday but we only had one storm. It was a doozy, but we ponchoed up and were fine.

3. Did not meet one mosquito. We used bug spray the first day but after that we didn't.

4. Met some awesome cast members. Had my first Mickey bar which was "on the house"

5. My DH is a huge Star Wars fan. I like it but I'm not a mega fan. We loved the launch bay and fireworks. It was a highlight. Follow @yulilin3's advice and you will be set (thanks yulilin!)

6. Haven't been since they allow you to book 4th FP from your phone (and so on). We rocked it and had a blast. Somehow we managed 5 trips on test track and 5 on Space Mountain (with my 5 year old pleading "again! again!" after each time ) I am also still grateful to @hiroMYhero for setting up the FP cancellation threads where we were able to get a FP for FEA.

7. Lots of Disney Magic, character interaction was awesome. Laughed at Goofy, cried when Mulan hugged me, and heart raced as Kylo Ren paced around me. And of course, the millions of special moments with my hubby and daughter, and seeing the magic through her eyes.

I was there at the same time! I fondly call that epic rainstorm the monsoon. That was the last day of our AP, so we did not get to see Fantasmic but I guess we've seen it before.

I agree about the mosquitoes, I step one toe outside here in Austin Texas and get 5 bites. I was outside all over Disney and Universal and never wore bug spray (except for our day at a state park) and I did not get one bite.
