Just back from a 4 day weekend at the World.

Stayed at the Swan with Teacher's discount. My first time on property. Hotel was nice, but don't know if we would stay there again, esp. not paying full price. Just some little things that disappointed me for a "deluxe" hotel, like mildew/mold in the shower, and some trash (not ours) we discovered next to one of the beds on our 3rd day that housekeeping had never found. We got upgraded to a 4th floor balcony view of the boardwalk and were able to get a 4pm check out due to SPG card. Really liked the hotel's location. We walked to epcot and MGM, although MGM was pretty far, and the path was not too easy to find. Transportation was good as well. No problem with the buses. Ate at Tubbi's once, it was ok.

Did the parks "commando style". We were able to do major attractions at all 4 parks in 3 days. crowds were very light. Longest line we waited on (besides guest services at epcot, but that is another story...) was 15 mins. Longest wait we saw was 25 mins for Pooh and Peter Pan. Rode mission space. It was neat and I am glad I did it, but I probably will never do it again. Combo of g-forces, spinning, and cramped space. We had to sit down for about 10-15 mins afterwards and felt quite out of sorts. One interesting thing, the end of the ride they have you walk a long ways in small corridors with stripes painted on the walls, I guess this is to help reorient you.
Went to MNSSHP on the 5th. Highly reccommend it. Did some halloweeny stuff and got on lots and lots of rides with no wait. Rode space mountain 3 times!!! COP is open during halloween party, but smells very musty due to lack of use.
On our last day we rented a watermouse at DTD and took it all the way up to POFQ/R. I highly reccommend it, although next time we will probably get a bigger, faster boat. Mouse's top speed is 5 mph. Great way to end the trip, plus it gave us a chance to check up PO where we will prob stay next time.

Feel free to ask any questions....

Hi! I'm suprised we didn't run into each other. We were at the Swan too. Did you call and let them know about your problems? They have a service guarantee. We didn't have any of those problems thank goodness. We decided that the long walk was because you were walking back from Mars on MS.
