Hi all, I just got back yesterday after staying at Pop. I mainly wanted to just give a general review and talk about Pandora charms specifically as many are asking for an update.
First, we did survive the weather change and the accompanying deluge. I'm not going to sugar coat it though; I have been to Disney since I was a little kid and this is amongst the worst I have seen it rain (but I haven't been during a hurricane). It did come and go, so that was a blessing, but as far as the amount of water put down in a short time, it was impressive. A well-timed ride on the tea-cups saved me from the worst of it. Then of course the "cold" showed up; no it wasn't as bad as the rest of the nation, but it was quite a shock to go from 80 to 50. It took a lot of people out of the parks, esp. older individuals and younger ones.
Friday and Saturday were obviously the busiest days, but the lines were manageable still. You needed your ADR's, and Fp's for the major rides, but otherwise we pretty much rode what we wanted. Sunday and Monday were perfect park days if one just looks at numbers. However, Sunday night I did go to the Christmas party, and it was a madhouse! I enjoyed it, but there were certain times on mainstreet that were almost (almost) like New Years, but not quite that bad.
Lunch at Liberty Tree, and breakfast at Kona were my two favorites this time. The only ride to ever give us issues was Wedway, it was stopped a lot every time we rode it, or tried to ride it. I was never sure of the issues. Magic Bands worked perfectly, as did MDE.
As for the Pandora charms; They are getting shipments of bracelets quite a bit, and I got one just 2 days ago. The 7.1 seems the most popular, with the other sizes selling out slower. There are park exclusive beads available almost everywhere, with only some styles of beads being sold out. (I was looking for the 2015 bead and the sorcerer's hat dangle and didn't find them.) The only really bad news is that the vendor that sells to disney is also sold out of certain specific charms, so no restocks of those specific ones for a bit (don't know how long, but could ask as everyone I talked to was very helpful).
They are more places than what I thought; The main jewelry stores in MK, EPCOT, MGM, and all the Deluxe resorts. DTD as well.
