I will answer questions rather than write alot, but MGM and MK's evening EMH were better than what I expected. Of course it will NEVER beat E Nights. My best advice would be to be patient and plan. For example, RNR was long waits and Fast Pass was sold out fast, but by later in the evening most other rides had 5 to 15 minute waits. Same with MK and Space mountain. Thunder and Splash had less waits than anything in Tomorrow Land. Start in the back of the park! Crowds thin out later in the night. Yesterday, and BIG and LONG rainstorm came in the afternoon and cleared out MK. EMH looked like and E NIGHT! Very little waits for rides and we all had a great time!

Plan your EMHs and you will be fine.

We had friends who got back last week and said EMH nights were great compared to the day time crowds. They had been a little worried because I had given them advice based on posts I had read here. They said definitley worth it.

Seem to be very mixed feelings on the EMH nights. I see it as a bonus you can take advantage of if you want. Even when they hold the special events like MNSSHP and MVMCP the later is gets the thinner the crowds get.

I did EMH night at MK on the 13th and 17th, at MGM on the 12th, and Epcot on the 16th. For major rides, obviously get there or get FastPasses early. I honestly found MGM to be the worst (45 min to get on Great Movie Ride when it was only 10 min earlier in the day? :sad2: ) and MK to be very manageable. Definitely helps if you head to the parks later in the day to try and avoid the hottest parts of the afternoon.

Glad to hear about your positive experience with EMH. We will be there next week and are going to MK and MGM for the EMH. We are all night owls and may try waiting the the last hour before riding the major attractions. If it doesn't work out, thats okay too we will still be at Disney.

For major rides (Space, RNR, Test Track, etc.), people would line up about 10:30 in front of fast pass. It was those attractions that we avoided untill late.

I am so glad to hear news like this, cause i scheduled our days with the EMH nights planned. I also was getting nervous with all the negative posts on EMH nights.

hmmm to do or not.....we leave Friday and are expecting PEAK crowds as always(we love it and have met some great people during these busy times- people show their true colors in a crowd!)I think we will try it at least at MK I'll report when we get back

We leave next Wednesday and are planning on giving EMH a try. We normally love being in the parks late and that is normally when we do the most! :cool1: I'm trying very hard not to be jaded by the negative feedback--I really want to see for myself.
