Just Back-Overall a great experience

We are just back and just wanted to give a few observations.

1-We liked the Magic bands, other than getting dh's fixed to open our door at the very beginning, no problems after that.

2-The DME App didn't work for us. I tried at different times to check wait times to only have it say that it was updating but never would get pass that.

3-Great crowd wise. It wasn't empty but with getting there at opening and using FP+ for our afternoon parks it worked great. They were actually walk on with our FP+.

4-We saw more rides down this trip than any other time that we have gone. When we got to MK yesterday morn. we went straight to Space Mountain to find it had a delayed opening and they didn't know when it would be up and running. We went and rode Buzz and then went to check on SM again. We ended up waiting for it to come up, about 20 mins. Pirates was also down as was Small World, Story Time with Belle. When we were at Epcot later in the day Test Track went down.

5-We also noticed that at DS some of the restaurants closed at 5:30pm when the park was open until 7:00pm.

6-This was my birthday present from my wonderful DH and it was a great trip!
Many birthday wishes through out the trip. Being sung to while in line at a restaurant and by the band in Mexico were just some of the highlights.

7-Off Kilter and Voices of Liberty still ROCK!!!

And yes, more positivity. My hope is that eventually the positives will outweigh the negatives for FP+

Glag you guys had a good time!!

I have noticed that the MDE app has been considerably slower and not as good since the magic bands have gone resort wide. Definitely need to work on that! Lol.

 
I forgot to Add that we had a FP for BOG which worked great. The stand by line was really long.

I hear it helps if you don't try to use the in-park/resort WiFi.

Yeah, I used cellular data on my wife's iPhone 5 instead of wifi. The data used is very small anyway, and it's much faster using the cellular service instead of the park wifi. (at least with Verizon this is the case)

OP, glad you had such a great time despite a few hickups!
