Seems like its been a few weeks - we already miss it.

My brother of 63 & his wife wanted to join us and let us be tour guides for them. It was their first trip. I explained the different types of attractions, and they said they would do everything we did, and it was no problem. Both are very active.

Halloween night we did Cirque. Great way to start off the trip. The hurricane was off the east coast and was affecting weather. Our original plan was to start at AK, but the cloudy and drizzly predication had us change to the Studios. As a good planner should do, we started with TOT & R&R. That about did my brother in!!! We took it easy after that with Indy, no Star Tours, and other shows. The permanent Jedi Training was excellent. Make sure to see it. One kid was so funny - he fought Darth, then went after the storm troopers, then the Master, then anybody he could find. We ended the evening at Epcot for the Food & Wine. The entire day was low crowds.

Friday was AK day - and it was a bit busier, but not bad. The safari was the best I have ever experienced. 3 giraffes were right beside the road, and the Angoli cattle almost speared our truck. The Yeti was off on EE, but still a great ride. We watched the Lion King, but not Nemo. I still think the Lion King is the best show on property. Dinner at Jiko's - EXCELLENT.

Saturday was for Epcot and to ride. It was busier now. Started with Soarin of course. I could never figure out what the new cue attraction screens are suppose to do. They should react to the people in line, but we could never get anything to happen. Checked out the history of Epcot that is in the back of the Character Connection building. Neat stuff.

The evening was the MK and Spectro & Wishes. The place was packed. We caught dinner at Chevy's Mexican at Crossroads. This is a fantastic place - best chips I have ever had. Very light & crispy. This was the first time I have watched Spectro from main street - we usually view from FrontierLand. It was great.

Sunday was back to MK to open and catch the attractions. Still busy, but easy at the start of the day. We found the right speed for my brother - all the FantasyLand rides!! The Mansion was great with the new additions. Monsters Inc was hilarious. We ended at Epcot for more F & W, then checked out the Disney Outlet store. That was a mistake. We got 3 round neck shirts, a nice ladies shirt, and 2 sweat shirts for $88. This was almost $220 at original price.

Crowds were low during the week, and busier on the weekend. The golf tournament was held this weekend, and I understand that can make things busier. For this time of the year, we do not expect it to be very crowded, and it was busier than usual.

Already planning for the next trip. My wife just mentioned that maybe we should head back in December to see the lights. YEAH

Sounds like a great trip! I enjoyed reading your report since you put it all in one easy to read post. I usually don't read trip reports because they are so long.

So true - and I can see you have been a number of times yourself. I believe this makes trip 23 since 1994. I do a long version that we read during the travel of the next trip. It includes fun details like who we meet during the trip and talk with, like a mom & her princess daughter that we talked with before Wishes. It was their first time to see it. I asked if they had been to the Boutique, and mom said no, her daughter dresses like that all the time. They were in the right place!!
