Just back - never again at spring break!

Let me add that we never ever waited in a line that was longer than 20 min. if that. We got to the parks at opening.... Utilized FP and rode everything and some things two times or more. I don't understand why anyone would wait 1-2 hours for an attraction!! If people are showing up two and three hours after park opening during peak times then that is why they waited so long or didn't get to ride things.

We had the exact same experience. We never waited longer than 15-20 min and we weren't rushing. We were just a few steps ahead of the crowd by getting there early.

The Fantasmic box lunch is only offered at really busy times like Xmas and now. We reserved it in advance but there were CMs walking around trying to sell them. It was a great deal!

i totally agree. We just arrived home last night and had the same experience. We didn't wait in lines longer than 20 minutes and rode everything we wanted to and saw everything we wanted to. The key is to know how to work the system. We heard so many people complain about spending all the money and not being able to do what they wanted. Some people were shocked when we told them the we never waited long for anything. I guess some people don't do any research prior to going to Disney??:confused3

Here now and this is so true! We saw people complaining about a 210 minute wait at Soarin' while we walked on with our FP, the CM didn't even try to explain, she just let them through to avoid fisticuffs. We'd pulled our FP at 9:30 and it was 4something when we were getting on. People just don't get that you either wait in line, or wait for your time after you get FP! Lots of people complaining about the crowds and ride times, but we made RD (we're offsite so no EMH) every day and rode what we wanted, sometimes multiple times and never waited more than 15 min!

BTW, the best advice ever was to use the single rider line for TT first thing in the morning! The standby line was SO long. Me, DS, and DD were the only ones in the single rider line when the ride opened. We rode 3x before the standby people even made it to the cars!:cool1:

Glad he is okay! That seriously stinks to get hurt at Disney ....especially when he was just in the process of healing :-(

Did the ECV tip over on him? I drove one for the first time last month and nearly tipped it by pulling too hard on accelerator while turning.

Fantasmic dining - we preordered, but they were taking orders right there.

My nephew - he apparently missed the brake and raninto the wall with his bad leg out. Poor kid! He's 12 and 6 ft tall, so he doesn't fit well with one leg sticking out, and doesn't have any driving experience.

Little mermaid - rather than a retelling of the movie, I think it would have been more fun to make it some sideshoot from the movie - king Triton 's world or something like that!

We only had one day - after a quick high school spring break trip to the beach - but hey, when you're in Florida you have to do Disney, right? And the day happened to be last Sunday (the 24th). I knew it was a '10' day but when you only have one day, you go with it!

I told my 18 year old DD we would be getting up at 5:45 and down by the dock (WL) by 6:15. We made it to the MK around 6:40 and was able to watch the opening with only a few hundred people. We kept looking around wondering where ALL the people were? From 7:00 until 10:00 the park was mostly empty. We did about a dozen rides, including SM twice, BTM, PP twice, and more with absolutely no wait. I have pictures of the 'line' at SM and there is no one in the entire area.

I'm glad we went early because after we hopped to Epcot and back to MK, the crowds had def. picked up. It was truly a great time!

YEP!!! I wish we could have gotten there before 8 our last park day but we were sooooo tired from the 6 previous days. LOL However even getting there at 8 was good. I love getting to MK at rope drop!!!
