Just Back from a wonderful trip! Prior to going, I had read many posts on the dis outlet stores at Belz outlet malls 1 & 2 so I thought I would tell you what we thought!

I had read that all they had was outdated, and from 2000 or so... this was not true when we were there. I saw only a handful of things from 02... the rest were the same items i was seeing in the parks... many even said 2003!

As for price... most items were at least 50% off if not more! :) :)

I had planned on going to the outlets before going to the parks, but ended up going after wards... therefore, if while in the park, I saw something that I absolutely had to have, I bought it, cuz I would rather have paid more than to not have it at all! Good thing I did too, because none of my "must haves" were at the outlet!

However, both Character Premier & Character Warehouse (located in mall 1 and mall 2) had a huge selection of items! Everything from clothes-watches-collectibles-jewelry-coffee mugs-housewares-toys-stuffed animals-key chains-picture frames... you get the picture!

I also found some scrapbooking supplies... drastically reduced... originally 12$ & 15$, down to .99 and 1.99!!!  I doubt they will last long!

My dd grabbed herself a disney bear, at the parks, they were 25, and we brought him home :) for 12.50... my ds's got the basketballs, footballs they wanted for 50% off as well! Coffee mugs were very reasonable, around 2.99 or so!

My advice is go.... you will find something that is a great deal!

Hope this helps someone!

We've always found great bargains at the outlets too and start every trip there. Some merchandise is outdated, but a lot is exactly what is currently in the parks. My girls are happy that their souvenier $$ goes so far and it cuts down on whining for things at the parks.

I am definetly looking forward to going to the scrapbook store in DTD, but wondering what exactly they are marking down already...Thanks!

I was there yesterday and bought several pakages of vacation scrapbooking stickers for .99 each. They had a large selection of baby Mickey and Baby Minnie scrapbook supplies including albums and paper and whole packages of stuff like "First Year" calanders but I didn't need any baby things.

I highly recomend these stores. If your kids are youg enough that they don't ask for a specific spinner but will just be happy with any spinner you can usually pick them up at the outlet for $5 or less. I also buy almost all of our WDW shirts there. I bought great ones last month for $5.99 each in 2xx for my DH.

If you are staying anywhere on International Drive it is easy to just hop on one of the trollys and go to the far end to the outlet malls. They are down past Wet and Wild.

May I ask..... where is the scrapbook store in DTD?? I recently started getting into this so this is great news for me!!!!

Our big family trip to Disney is in two weeks. My sister and I went to the Discount Disney World Store at the Sawgrass Mills outlet in Sunrise, Fl last week and I was able to get a bunch of souveniers for ds and myself. Great stuff too!! Not outdated at all. A couple of tops, Mickey ears, Minnie ears, one of the pins (Says 2003) that light up to music, which are $15 in the parks, I paid $3.99. The die cast figures of rides (Got Dumbo, Buzz Lightyear and It's A Small World ones) were marked down to $2.99...they are $6 in the parks right now! I TOTALLY recommend the outlet shops to anybody!!

Thanks so much for the wonderful reviews. I am heading this week to FLA on a non-WDW related trip. However on my way through Orlando I am planning to stop and stock up on Souvies for our Feb trip. My DD is only 2 and easy to fool. LOL.

I was going to head to the Lake Beuana Vista ones, But after your review I think I will go to Belz instead.

Thanks again for the great reviews!:Pinkbounc

The Scrapbooking supplies at DTD are where the Art of Disney is!

It is in the right hand side of the store as you walk in at the door nearest Rainforest Cafe.

Not sure if they have them at World of Disney

Can somone tell me where these outlet stores are located. We will be staying at the Fairfield Cypress Palms. Are they close by? I really want to go there on our first day. Thanks.
