We just got back from our Universal/Disney trip. We stayed at Universal RPR club level June 4-7. We loved the RPR club level! Very nice. The Mummy was great! Thank God we had FOTL--even that wait was about 30 minutes. I also met Notatourist!! But I didnt run into any others from the boards at Universal. I did met a couple more at Disney.

How is the coaster part of the mummy? Anything that would make me "ill" (I get a little motion sick sometimes).

Puffy if you can ride roller coasters normally you should be okay. It does go backward but just briefly. It has some great special effects.

Welcome back! Can't wait to read the trip report!

4greatboys, I am also wondering if I should go on Mummy, I also get motion sick, I cant ride Back to the Future or Star Wars but can go on Fire and Ice(1x/trip), Space Mountain, rock and roll rollercoaster. I do best on rides that dont go upside down or have things moving fast up close. sorry for all of the info but this ride sounds awesome but not if I get sick, do you think that I could possibly go on Mummy?

Pokeysmom,

With the rides you listed that you can ride, you should be just fine on ROTM. I get nauseous on BTTF and Body Wars, sometimes on Fire/Ice. The Mummy gives me no problems whatsoever. I can ride it again, and again, and again......:D

I would think if you can ride Space Mountain or RnR coaster you should be able to ride the Mummy. Its more like those rides than it is BTTF or Star Tours. It does not go upside down or things moving fast and close up but it does have some really great special effects.
