We just returned from a week at WDW and I thought I would share my thoughts on where we ate since I have enjoyed reading all the reviews on here over the years. We were a party of 5 DH, myself, DD(10), DD (15) and DD's BFF (15) who is VERY picky.

Victoria and Alberts- DH and I did this without the kids on our first night and it was great. Staff was polite and attentive without hovering and the food was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed trying a couple of new things and really appreciated that they gave me a menu with no seafood selections as I had mentioned when confirming our reservation that I did not eat seafood.

Tutto Italia lunch- we all really enjoyed this meal. I loved the fresh mozzarella selections and my DD (10) couldn't get enough of the baked eggplant appetizer. The entrees were large in size and filled us up so DH and I had to share a dessert and the two older girls didn't even order a dessert. DD(10) however seemed to have room for the dessert sampler after eating the full adult fish entree. I'm still not sure where she put all the food she ate on this trip. If you like Italian food I would highly recommend this one.

Portabello- we all ate here on our arrival day and enjoyed this one as well but I'm not sure as much as our Italian meal in EPCOT. I did enjoy the meatball sliders though and DD(10) loved the huge clams that came with her pasta. Not a bad meal, just not exciting either.

Cape May Cafe breakfast- we were staying at the Beach Club so it was nice to just walk downstairs for breakfast. Buffet was good and they did a good job of replenishing the food so it stayed fresh and hot. Character interaction was good even though I had older children with me. Donald kept sneaking up on DD's friend, which was hilarious because he startled her every time.

Donald's Safari breakfast-this was a great breakfast. We hadn't done this one since before it was at Tusker House so my DH was. Skeptical, but he ended up really enjoying the expanded buffet. There was something for everyone and there were some different offerings. I liked the carved ham and DD(10) couldn't get enough of the juice. The only thing I didn't care for was long wait in line to see Donald and get the picture taken. It seemed to take forever to actually get into breakfast. I would prefer it if they would just have Donald circulate with everyone else.

Yachtsman Steakhouse- I have always enjoyed this place so I was really looking forward to this and it did not disappoint. Cheese plate was good as was mine and everyone else's steaks. DD (10) who is not a steak eater at all enjoyed her lobster bisque and was really appreciative that the waiter suggested that they double the scollop appetizer as her entree. She was in heaven!!!!

Spirit of Aloha dinner show- this was a last minute decision and seemed to be a good one. Everyone enjoyed the food and the show is ok too. I find a lot of it to be a little hokey, but the dancing at the end is good, the food was good and everyone seemed to have a. Good time. My DD (10) just adored this show, from the food to the show, it seemed to be one of her favorite things we did on this trip. She was eating so much, the people at the table next to us offered her some of there food.

Chef's de France dinner- DH and I did this one by ourselves and really enjoyed it. The service here was great even though the place was packed. My steak was juicy and cooked well and my husband liked his seafood dish as well. The bread and creme brûlée and fresh bread were great as usual. This place is a little loud though and the tables are a little close together as well, but if the food is good, who cares right?

CRT lunch- this was also a last minute decision that paid off. Food was good and we had one of our best waiters of the trip. He was funny and went out of his way to make the girls feel special. Again we had to wait in the loooooonnnnngggg line to meet Cindy and get the picture, but at least this time the picture was free and since we had five in our party we got two photo packages which was nice. The character interaction was pretty good but they do try to move you along quickly at this meal. We had barely put the appetizer on our plates when the entrees arrived and the dessert arrived in literally a minute after our entrees were picked up. I know this meal is popular but a little digestion time would have been nice. Still a great time was had by all.

Beach Club in room dining- we did breakfast twice and the girls did dinner twice. The food was always brought when we asked and the food was hot and fresh.

We overall had a good dining experience wherever we ate and are sad to be home. I'll answer any questions if people have them.
