I'm hoping to make a trip report soon but for those traveling in the next couple of weeks....

April 29-May 7

Cast: me(31) DH(33) Ch (7,8, 9) DM(50ish), DGF(80ish) DEOTY(19) [bet you cant figure that one out!...(answer at bottom)]

1. We didn't wait in any lines more than 5 minutes except Sourin, Test Trac, and Space Mountain FP lines took 10-20 mins.

2. Sat. Magic Kingdom...space mountain stand-by and FP lines took the same amount of time at 12:30 pm about a 20 min. wait. At 12pm buzz said there was a 20 min. wait when it was actually 5 mins.

3. SUN. MGM At Fantasmic people were walking in even after the show started at 8:30...there was still seating at the far left of the stage. H&V was barely a step above Ryan's in my opinion. The only great thing is they let me use my DDE card even for the fantasmic package. Drew Carey is TOTALLY skippable and GReat Movie Ride is a must do for my family.

On a side note here, I got in the HOT SEAT AT WWTBAM!!!!! I missed the 64,000 question but still got RET. VAL. of $170 in prizes. (WWTBAM polo, hat, laynard, and 10 pins!)

4. Mon. MK Parade...due to an accident we didn't see the parade but did watch the fireworks from the rose garden area that's off the tomorowland bridge. We sat on the cement circular slab that goes around a tree. It's located just as you walk start down the path from the TL Bridge. Great view of fireworks and tinkerbell.

5. Tues. MK- Did not enter until 9:30...FP pooh, rode Snow White, Peter Pan, Small World, Aladin, Jungle Cruise, FP Space Mount, rode Buzz, Carousel of Prog, TTA, space mount (use FP), Rode pooh (FP), Carousel, and Mickey Philharmagic before 2pm

6. Wed. EPcot- WS My advice here is don't show up until after 12:00 if you want to get autographs with characters. No waits in any of the kidcot stations.

7Thurs. EPcot- Soarin...try not to get in 3 rd row if poss...you can see feet above you and black screen below. Single line TT if you do not have a FP. This ride took a little over 20 min with FP. MS is not worth trying if you are prone to MOtion sickness in the slightest.. I hated it. I did the whole look in front of you thing and still felt queezy the rest of the day. SPace Minnie and Goofy hide behind the left entrance at times. There was never a line there...you'll totally miss them unless you enter MS area.

8. Fri. AK...Call me crazy but this was the coolest and easiest park to tour. The trees provided lots of shade in most areas. Pooh, Piglet, eeyore, and tigger were avail. right at opening on a pathway right before Dinoland. No wait. We didn't have a FP for the rapids but there was only a 3 min. wait (at 10:30). We FP Safari and EVerest

9. Sat..MGM on an early magic hour day were no major crowds at 11:00 when we arrived. We didn't do TOT or RNR though. None of the theatres were packed and we got 3rd row left center seats for BATB 15 minutes before showtime.

HOPE THAT HELPS!

Oh yeah, we had a pool home in Formosa Gardens...we'll never stay at a hotel in Orlando never ever again!!! You just drive up in your driveway in to to your home, get the bathing suits on and in the pool in 2 minutes flat!!! Everyone with their own bed, bath, and TVs. IT was great!!!!!!!!!!!11 :)

DEOTY= Dear employee of the year

We rented a house in 2000 for $89 a nite. My kids still talk about it to this day. Thanks for sharing your Trip Report.

Sounds like you had a great time. Wish we could have gone then, but will be there next week. The heat, the crowds, I'll be  .

And I did figure it out, what a lucky employee.

There are 11 of us, we are renting a house in Terra Verde. It is so much better than a hotel when you have a large group.

Enjoyed reading your report ~ Thanx for sharing.

Great report! Congrats on making it to the hot seat! Very cool!

Thanks for posting.

we were there the same time frame and we had an awesome time too. We were able to do Soaring 8 or so times during our visit.
I missed doing Pirates of the Caribean because they closed on the first for the rest of the rehab.
Thanks so much for your report......

We're going in November(family of 10) and also renting a home in Formosa Gardens. Hope we like as much as you did! :wave2:
