Just back. May '08 anyone?

We just got home. Experiencing a bad case of post-WDW-depression. Is anyone else planning for next May already? Any tips to combat the "trip is over" blues?

we have been going in May for quite a few years now....but not in 08....we're doing the Disney repo cruise so that will eat up a ton of our vacation, not to mention $$!!

The worst thing is having to leave WDW and go home. I know how you feel. We were in WDW for 9 days in December and stayed in Pop Century with the dining plan. As soon as I got back, I already started to miss it. Since then, we've gone to MK for a 1 day trip twice. In January and May but its not the same without the package. I keep planning away for our next trip to WDW but Dh keeps saying he's tired of WDW. What??? How is that possible?

We were supposed to be going this year, but... now it's next May, we are going the first or second week of May not too sure yet. Dh actually wants to go the first week in March. I 'd rather May I want to swim alot, but my dd will be turning 4 in March so that would be nice too, a birthday trip Not too sure yet but either way it's next year. My kids talk about it alot the last time we were there my youngest dd was only 11 months old, so she doesn't remember anything, she looks at pics of her with the characters and I don't think she really believes she saw them!!
We're going to start going to the disney store at our mall and keep buying disney dollars to save up, that will get the kids excited and help me too actually save money! As it gets closer maybe after summer's over we are going to make our own autograph books too. Good luck with the wait, by next year it will have been 3 years since we've been, and we were in orlando and only did 1 day at the magic kingdom, so this will really be our first time at Disney world

Yep! We will be there for a couple of days prior to our first cruise!

We will be there May of 08. Probably a week later that May 2-8th like this year. We will probably stay at either POP or AS movies rather than POR. I am so depressed and hopefully come 180 days from now I will feel better about being home because i will start to make my ADR's.

Just got back last week and I'm still having trouble getting myself out of the "Let's go back now!" mode. I had no idea it would be this tough getting back to real life! We probably won't go back till 2009, but believe me I'm ready to make reservations and seal the deal! How am I gonna last 2 years?? I kinda thought all of you who go every year were a bit crazy, but I get it now! I think I've been bitten by the Disney bug! How long before I stop talking about how awesome it was and how much I want to go back?

Want to know what's REALLY bad?? We are planning May 2010!!! I hope you can last 2 years, I have to last 3!!! LOL!!!!! The gears are turning in my head though, thanks to the DIS I can live vicariously through others!!! Have wonderful trips everyone, whenever you go!!!!

Yup! We bought the DVC too! So we'll be booking next month for our home resort, then likely changing it 7 months out. YAY!!! Can't wait for next year!

Yep! We are going to WDW 5/3-5/10 (staying at POP) and I am soooo excited! I went when I was a little girl (6, maybe?) but Dh and the kids (now 4 and 11 mos) have never been.

I have been planning away like crazy and it is just under a year away. I don't know how I will ever be able to stand the wait!

We were there for 9 days of the dining plan too. It's so hard eating here at home after dining like royalty every night. So, we are already planning for next may.

The parks seemed crowded. But the lines were really short. Between fastpassing and getting there at 8am every day, we never waited longer than 25 minutes for anything. It is a great time to visit.

We'll be there in May 08 for 5 nights before our first Disney Cruise! We can't wait!

we just got back from last week april thru first week may. loved it!

i am planning my next trip 18 aug thru 28 aug 2008, i loved the time of year i went, but i just don't want to take my son out of school next time. and this way i can stay longer!


i can't wait!
