Just back from an amazing and crowded Easter week! Posting now before my memories start clouding!

Weather- large swings in temperatures from almost 90 to 60 and everywhere in between. One night we were fully rained out at Animal Kingdom.
Crowds- Much worse than I expected and much worse than when I went 3 years ago during Easter week. Magic Kingdom didn't have it's daily 7 a.m. emh hours like it had in the past and that made touring hard and the mornings intense. If you could hang out after the fireworks til midnight that would have been the best plan and likely a plan we'll try in the future. It's very hard to rope drop and hang in there that late, even with an afternoon break (we had 2 seniors and 2 young children in tow).
Epcot- My first trip ever to Epcot, what a stunning park especially with Flower and Garden going on. FEA is amazingly beautiful.
Animal Kingdom- We avoided rope dropping Pandora madness. Instead we were first in line for Tough to Be Bug, got some Starbucks and walked to Safari and we're on and off that for a 9 a.m. FoLK. We checked out Pandora later in the day and I was overwhelmed by it's beauty and sheer size. The pictures can't do it justice.
Magic Kingdom- This is where things went fully nuts with crowds. With people pushing and two teenagers almost tipping our stroller by barreling over it. We still accomplished everything we wanted here, with two days and breaks in the afternoons. I only rope dropped it once though, the second day we got there late and depended on fastpasses. That was a much less stressful day. With Spring break crowds I'd say the dessert party for HEA was worth it's weight in gold.
Hollywood Studios- There is still an awful lot to do here despite sections being closed down. We saw Fantasmic for the first time and that was everyone's favorite show.
Well I won't be back until 2020 and this was probably our last spring break trip. We're planning longer summer trips in the future.

Sounds like a great trip! It's nice that you're able to put a positive spin on a trip with such heavy crowds. I totally agree, HEA dessert party is well worth it to avoid staking out a spot hours in advance.

Glad you enjoyed yourselves. It is sad that the parks are always so crowded now, but you seem to have dealt well with it. Fantasmic is our fave also, we just love it. I’m happy to hear that you liked Epcot! It’s my favorite park, but it doesn’t get much love on here.

We feel the same about HS...we always have a full a day there and we still don't get to RnR or ToT!

I happened to be down on business that week, and decided to do a little park time in the off-hours. Magic Kingdom may have been the busiest I've ever seen it. The FastPass line for Space Mountain at 10:00pm was back to People Mover. I still had a great time and considered it a little miniature bonus visit between trips, but I'm glad I we booked for May with the kids.

We just booked a trip for Columbus day weekend. I am expecting crazy crowds, but I am glad to hear that even with crazy crowds it's still enjoyable!
