We just got back after a week in the world and we did not see any members of the Dream Squad on our trip. We also didn't see anyone with any dream fastpasses etc. the whole week except on our last day at EPCOT I noticed one family with the mouse ears, but that was it. I think the Dream Squad was in hiding this week! We, however, did get lots of magic. My DS got 5 Magical Moments Certificates for various things, several CM's stopped him to give him little trinkets and pins, we ended up riding in the front of every car of every single ride we rode (well, the ones that have a front seat), we either walked on or waited less than 5 min. for every attraction including EE and Soarin, my DH was the customer of the hour at Tusker House and got a free cupcake, my DS got free Cheetos at the Turkey Leg stand in the Studios, Miyuki made DS a tiger sucker, a balloon artist made me a flower before the parade at MK, and the best of all was the upgrade at AKL to Savannah from Standard! Who needs that silly old Dream Squad anyway?

Wow! Sounds like you had a fantastic time! :thumbsup2

Yeah ... I keep thinking the same thing "Who needs that silly old Dream Squad" ... because it seems people are obsessing about what they did and didn't get.

Thanks for the quick review!

What a magical trip, mapmakerj! I am so happy you and your family had such a memorable time (I agree with you about that upgrade---that would be the best for me , too ;))!

:wave2:

We got back yesterday after a two week stay and didn't see the dream squad either - we saw lots of people with dream passes though.

We did have lots of magical moments, the kids have 6 certifcates each- we too got to ride at the front of most rides (the only lines we encountered were for the busses back to CBR!), DD opened the Great Movie Ride and we got an unbirthday cake (which was delicious!).

Holiday blues now kicking in

Just back last night from a 9 day stay. Lines were all over the place. Some days lines for the mountains were 5 minutes, next day 45 min? Weird! On average, I'd say the lines for the most popular rides averaged 25 minutes.

We noticed a LOT of people would be walking around the park, but lines would be rather short? That was strange!

I saw about 7 Dream Squad members. I didn't get anything--but my brother and my niece got Dream fastpasses for MGM--and couldn't use them because there were no lines!!! I followed a Dream Squad member around for about 10 minutes while trying to get my infant son to sleep in his stroller...that was interesting!!! The poor guy was walking back and forth, kind of pacing. He walked in and out of the same store probably 4 times within 5 minutes!! Aimless.

We were there for 3 weeks 7th to 28th Oct, we saw no dream squad action, but did have some magical bits from CMs, and a free fasspass for MS when getting Fpasses for TT. No good to us, as my DD was too short to ride MN, so we made another familes day,and gave it to them.

We also watched a dream squad memeber trying to give out something, but he kept getting told to wait. What for we dont know ???? We watched for at least 40 mins, nosey that I am.! Friends got a fasspass ticket for Epcot, but didnt need it that day as there were no queues!!! so they kep it as a sovernir!

My Dd was chuffed with 2 trading pins of tinkerbell. One to keep and one to pass on.She was given this at Epcot and she gave it to a litte girl who she made friends with at 1900 Park fayre, character meal. :goodvibes
