JUST BACK- Here goes
HHI - first 5 days -1 bedroom- awesome CM's beautiful grounds and resort- room very pretty clean and bright and well maintained-loved the big porch and rockers loved the beach, pool and bike riding. The whole island was friendly and beautiful. Ate at some amazing restaurants Scotty's Fish Market. Sea Shack. Low Country Backyard, and The French Bakery near resort. Sarah at the pool was the most awesome CM!!!
SSR- studio Carousel and Paddock other than the bus issue(see Resort thread) had an enjoyable 3 days plus 1. Rooms a bit worn but very very clean and no maintenance issues.
Poly- 3 days - love love love everything from the room to the entire resort!!Tokeleau building- The pool by DVC is absolutely gorgeous and serene. The food and drinks and service at pool by Jenn was outstanding. Sat on the beach and watched fireworks and EWP- just awesome and at night those tiki torches make it paradise. How about that shower-wow!!
Food- Ate at Maria and Enzo's Hideaway- big surprise- cool atmosphere - great server and awesome awesome food and wine. Spice Road Table - excellent. Flower and Garden booths were mostly very good.
Kona sushi-very good. Poly pool very good. Went to Wine Bar George- great wine list- delicious bites and great atmosphere . We were lucky enough to meet George- what a nice down to earth dedicated guy and owner.
Great 2 week trip and even the weather cooperated most days despite the rainy forecast. Can't wait to return to AKV in OCT!!
