Reviews of the Sci-Fi always amaze me, just because of the disparity of opinions.

We've always managed fine there (but the A/C on those days when you think you might spontaneously combust might have something to do with that.) We've done burgers, and they've been better than OK but not "stuff of legends." Interestingly, at our last visit DD and friend split this entree for lunch:

Shrimp Penne Pasta with Garlic and Capers sautéed in Olive Oil, Plum Tomatoes, Opal Basil, Baby Spinach, White Wine, and topped with shaved Asiago Cheese $16.49

and raved about it. Like a good Daddy, I sampled it, and it was one of the best pasta dishes I've had at WDW. Go figure - maybe the stars were in alignment or something.

Here's a link to the lunch menu:

Thanks for the post.

I've often wondered how it was possible for a restaurant with as poor reviews as Sci-Fi could manage to last so long. It is nice to hear that the menu seems much improved. Not to worry about perceived consumption oddities...after all the reason they have so many types of food at WDW is that not everyone has the same tastes.
