Just back home from black friday

I did cyber Black Friday. Needed some makeup from Sephora so I ordered online & got free shipping & a free tote. Then on to VS for free slippers with PJs, a wrap sweater, free shipping & their free tote. I would have bought something from PINK & gotten a scarf with the sweater but I was limited to 3 codes. Still a great deal.

I'm really looking forward to the after Christmas sales. I get lots of gifts for teachers & such on December 26th.

I love living in a smaller town on black friday! I got to walmart at 11:20pm and got to the bike area.. at 2 to 12 they let us "go" but the other areas were still waiting for the go ahead.. we got back toys and grabbed everything I wanted. Buzz, playdoh, zhuzhus, hot wheels, crayon sets, lulu, playdoh nerf , headed down another isle and got 2 steam mops, 2 stick vacs, a crockpot, we had the stuff in the van by 12:25am! We went back in for round 2 got some pj's and looked for the ds games I forgot about! they were gone, got some other odds and ends then scouted the store for where all the electronics were going to be for awhile.. we (me and my bro) came home til 3am, went back for our ipods got those, surround sound system, mp3players, cameras, and other stuff.. we were out the door by 6am and home by 7am... LOTS of fog!! ugh that was the worst part of my night.. stupid fog!

I bought most of the gifts online, before today. I crossed my fingers and kept checking the BF ads to avoid buying something that would be on a better sale today. There were a few things I wanted get from Walmart online today, but fell asleep and most things were sold out at 5 AM. I did manage to snag a good deal of online bargains, though- Cars comforter and Bissell vacuum from Walmart, a few newer used games from GoHastings, some velour separates and boots from JCP, a small LCD tv, ipod dock, and a few games from Amazon, and an Itunes giftcard from Best Buy. Yesterday, I did the B2G1 free from Gamestop, and a bunch of blu rays from Barnes & Noble. I had to run to the library, so I stopped and got a few old DS games for 5/each, then went to Famous Brands (clothing store) and got a bunch of stuff (for gifts and me) at 50% off. I am cringing thinking about the credit card bill....but I definetly got some good bargains.

I headed to Walmart at 1130 last night, walked in at 1155 and the lines were crazy. Apparently they were open all day so people went early and jammed their carts and then headed to check out. I mainly went for the $7 jeans for DS as he recently went through a growth spurt and was able to get 3 pairs in his size. Considering all the craziness I didn't wait long to check out.

Next I headed to TRU, Line outside was waaaay too long so I headed to the Disney store. Didn't think the sales prices were that great but the extra 20% off helped :)

I headed back to TRU, line shorter. I guess they were only letting in 50 people at a time, I only waited outside, in the rain, about 15 min.

Next headed to JCpenney, got the snow globe and decided to try Target (it's attached to our mall) I was able to get a 26" vizio tv, Sony blue ray player, digital picture frame and I was only going in for the $15 Car care kit for DH LOL I did pay for my luck though, I must have been in line to check out at least 1 hour. After that I had to head home to watch the kids so DH could go to NTB for their buy 2 tires get 2 free.

After being up over 24 hours straight it was a looong day LOL

Oh, we NEVER do TRU. Ours is a disaster on Black Friday. Went once and will never go back. It was awful.

I decided to head out to TRU last night. After sitting at the light to get across the intersection over to where TRU is located, I called DH, it was about 9:50 pm and asked him to log on to their website to see if I could get the deals online. When he said everything I asked him about was coming up at the ad price, I headed home and shopped online. Got everything I wanted except for the Peanuts Sno-Cone maker for DS. So glad I decided to call my wonderful hubby and find out. Next year I will do the same. The $16 I paid in shipping was well worth my time. No hassle and no headaches!
