Those are great pictures!

We were staying at the Poly summer of 99 and Max and Goofy waterskied up to shore and were swimming and playing in the lagoon. They came up and spent time with the kids and got in the pool. It was great.

Those pictures remind me of my FAVORITE WDW memory. It was in Sept several years ago and Epcot was almost empty. Goofy suddenly appeared in a swim suit and started splashing my kids with water from the spraying fountain. After about 10 minutes of this tame and slightly damp fun, they all took the plunge and Goofy had the kids and himself dancing on the sprayers getting completely soaked. It was so funny it was worth being drenched.

I've heard in years past of Goofy playing in the pool at the Poly and the fountains in Future World but have never actually seen him do it. I hope WDW continues Max and Goofy's "appearances"...it looks really cute!

Your pictures are great. I thought we weren't allowed to swim in the lakes? LOL When my kids were young they had a thing at river country with the characters I think it was called a beach party or something. They were trying to get people to go. I guess they were hurting when the water parks opened up. well we went. It was like my kids were babysat all day my goofy. It was so cool. He took them on a hike, they had a water gun fight with the CM in the stores. When on the hike goofy stepped on my daughters foot.(It had nothing to do with the fact she was up his butt all day.) and he bent down and started to kiss her feet. We weren't so lucky to get pictures but I have to say those memories will stay with us forever! Thanks for sharing and making my day! Gina

Thanks so much! My boys and DH just loved them!
I do remember seeing the characters water ski on Bay Lake.
There was also an afternoon parasailing/ boating show with characters at the EPCOT lake. It was just wonderful watching Mickey fly into the lake!
