We just got back from WDW:( . Had a great trip. Got very lucky with all our timing. Never waited more than 5 minutes for WDW buses and never had to use FP all week and never waited more than 15 minutes for a ride (Splash Mtn said 25 for standby but was only 15).

Did Stitch...only fair. My DD 8 who is a huge Stitch fan (she was Lilo for Halloween) did not enjoy the ride. I thought it was just ok.

Finally COP was open at the same time we were at WDW so took the family. Everything was fine until the very end (we had just seen the last scene). The music started and we began to move but then it stopped... there was some technical problem so although we couldn't move, we ended up seeing the last segment 4 times before finally getting up and exiting. We just couldn't handle the dialogue and music yet again. So every time for the rest of the week that we were on a ride that stopped for a moment (invariably to load or unload a wheelchair rider) my family would burst into a verse of "it's a great big beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of every day..."

Any questions about any of the parks or rides...I'd be happy to answer to the best of my ability!

Thanks for sharing, Karen, it sounds like you had a great trip. I can't imagine hearing "it's a great big beautiful tomorrow..." over an over again, though..
I had a quick question: what was it about the Stitch ride that your daughter didn't enjoy? Was she afraid, or did she just not care for it? My kids are around that age, too.

Kathmzh,
It was a great trip. Both my kids are really sensitive to loud noises (and spent most of the week with fingers in their ears) so that was probably the biggest problem for her. You're also in the dark for part of it...she didn't love that too much either.
Also there's a part where Stitch bounces all over the room so it feels like someone is pushing down on your shoulder harness. I don't think she quite understood that the sensation on her harness was supposed to be Stitch jumping on her shoulders...

It wasn't awful but in the end, didn't rank as one of our favorites.

I am disappointed when we go and it is closed as I consider it classic Disney. That said, I don't think in my 15+ times of doing it, we have ever NOT gotten stuck.

thanks for all the great info!!! In the past 20+ visits to WDW... I can't remember ever being stuck on COP. It is one of our favorites also but I don't think I would want to watch one scene 4 times in a row!!!
