Just back from YC

Thanks for the pic! So the sofa was a true sofa and not a bed. I have seen several configurations of king rooms. You had a great view! Congrats on the upgrade.

That's correct. Thanks!

I was going to say it reminds me of the DVC studio rooms, with the kitchenette area (sink, frig, etc). Love that!! BUT that view alone is worth its weight in gold! Sometimes a little magic does happen in WDW when you're least expecting it!:thumbsup2

We had a great experience with that at the BCV for my bday a few yrs back, booked a studio rm and ended up with a 2 bedroom villa! (2 balconies & able to see fireworks every night as it was just across the street from Epcot). I LOVE THE BC/YC!!

Wow that's great!! Yeah we love it too.

A couple more pics. This is the view towards the bathroom. The tub is to the left of the toilet. You can see one of the closets to the right...

So if you went down the elevator by our room you could go to the first floor and around the corner was a small hallway that led to a small pool out back.

Granted it was a chilly week but this pool was typically empty. It was a nice little spot.

Thanks for the pics. Just finished booking the YC which will be my family's first stay there. Now I am really looking forward to it :)

Hi all,

Just back from a great trip. We ended up with an upgrade, I was so surprised(especially considering we almost had to move hotels pre-trip). We had booked a standard room. I hadn't done online check in and arrived via ME around 1pm. We were brought right up to the counter, the lobby wasn't busy.

What a room it was. Room number is 4059. Facing the water we were close to the boat dock. There was an elevator right around the corner from our room and that put us steps from a side door out to the walkway. It was perfect.

We had a little couch and king sized bed. Fingers crossed the pics show below!

Any questions let me know.

Thanks for your report. You helped me finally decide. I will book YC water view for our 25 wedding anniversary.

Just returned from a March 1-5 quick trip. Stayed CL Standard. YC is very relaxing for our family with two girls 7 and 4. There was more a business class mentality at the hotel, but staff was very outgoing and helpful. Ate more at the parks because of the lack of Quick Dining. Transportation was great, and walking into Epcot was so easy during the day. Would stay here again for the right deal, but may try BC for the more relaxed feel over the summer or fall. Have to say though that the YC is a beautiful place to stay.

I think most of the rooms have the double sinks outside of the bathroom. Might explain the extra closet! Very cool. You really did get a nice room!

Oh yes that's true. I forgot about sinks outside the bathroom. This bathroom had double on the inside but the second sink was a little tight.
